Aw okay... Can it be paint? I don't really do the animeesk style art.. I do animation in a very surreal manner. but I do detail with the items and what not Ive been working on a calendar of me and my boyfriends avvy themes as a present for him.

Hey I just read your contest forum, I'm actually going for my master's in art.. I was wondering if there was a criteria in style of art you're looking for.. I saw the examples they all look gaia and mangaesk related.. Do they all have to be that way? I paint... I do surrealist, abstract, portraits, and macabre. I have a still life that I sold in an art show I can submit.

I agree. I think it takes a lot more talent and effort to make a traditional piece look nice than it does with a CG piece.
With traditional, if the artist makes a mistake, then they have to figure out a way to make that mistake work with their picture or start all over again...
With CG, they can simply press the, 'Undo,' button or morph things to perfection with the Liquify Tool, etc stare

Anyway, I didn't mean to rant. It was just refreshing to see someone who, for once, favors traditional art blaugh
I've seen countless people say in their signatures and such, "ONLY CG, NO TRADITIONAL PLEASE!" crying
