I live in New England buddy. ;]
Having a clean 240 here is a huge rarity. Finding an RB anything worth buying is near impossible.

Your decisions change based on where you live.

I'd love to be in california, thousands of spanish kids crashing their cars all day long, plus an abundance of chop shops.

I'm going to build up the sohc ka first, see if I'm satisfied with a T3 setup and then go from there.

Never said any of them had SR20s.
Also where do you live since you've been working on skylines for that long?
And no, RB20 would be easier, the wiring harness is so similar it would be a breeze. And for an RB25 that would be retarded to find parts for, I don't want to be all JDM tyte and overnight my parts from japan for $39829382 USD. R32s are easily found in canada and soon the U.S. as well if all goes well. Much more cost effective for an RB20.

Also factoring in the 240s weight, you don't need much more than that.

the only thing going for the SR20 is that it's a very high rev happy engine. and the RB engines tend to be more of a drag/dyno queen if power is high. and the SR is good for drifting cause get the tires spinning you go sideways. each is for it own use. I'm looking at a RB swap or VK swap in my SX...have to wait and see what time brings...and cash.
