She eyed him a moment when she noticed he had put his mask back on, and the light squeeze of her hand she had rubbed his arm lightly with her free one, hoping the trip wasn't too bad. It was quiet inside, dresses everywhere. It wasn't a posh place more casual and pretty dresses. With a smile she let go of Atlas's hand so he may do his own thing as she slipped amongst the dresses picking out her most liked ones. Marie would glance at him every so often, thinking away, her eyes would trail up and down him as if sizing him up until her attention was caught by another dress she wanted to try on.

Z. would give a nod with a smile.
"I'll try, though no promises. And I wouldn't mind staying, at least the night, though only if none of you guys mind monsters. They tend to kind of just show up, but they're not always bad..." she tried to explain. She wondered if she should mention the others in her head too, but thought against it. Monsters was enough to bring up at one time.

Flying? She could deal with that. The Slender Man was getting smaller in the distance, and she was quite used to being carried places or...sometimes traveling inside of certain creatures if they were willing to give her a ride. Always messy, that bit. She'd cling to him just for safety's sake.
"Don't worry about it. And yeah, I don't quite have a "place", sorry." she would admit, doing her best to make the statement casual, no big deal, really.
"That was a Slender Man. They used to mostly be in wooded areas, but ever since they got more popular on the internet and such, they've spread into the cities it seems. They make children disappear, mostly, but others too. It's a good thing we got away before it could open it's arms, once they do that, there's no resisting them." she informed, one thing she was always good at no matter what state of mind she was in. Relaying information about something.
"Thanks for the rescue."

Some adults have reported catching glimpses of the Slender Men, but there are also many cases where only the children can see them. or in this case, someone who sees the supernatural anyways.

She was glad when they started walking, knowing better than to turn around. That was often what made them notice you.
"Don't turn around, don't turn around, don't turn around..." she whispered to herself, making sure she listened. He thought she was crazy or just hallucinating, and sometimes she did, but not all the time. Better safe than sorry.
"My place?" she asked, not sure what he meant. Where she slept? Well, that was where ever she passed out, usually. The closest thing she could think of to a home would be either Arkham Asylum, or the Secret Society headquarters, and she was fairly sure the society would not appreciate her bringing this guy in with her. She'd glance back only once they had turned a corner and walked a bit past. It was there. And it had it's tentacles out, which made her squeak.
"We need to run, we need to run, we need to run!" she panicked, knowing what would happen if that thing opened its arms, and quite frankly not wanting to go poof!

Why was he helping her? Well, she was too tired to argue anyways, which was kind of why she was in this mess in the first place. She'd just give a nod.
"The monster wanted the gem, it wouldn't tell me why, I don't really care. But I didn't take anything, I've got no use for that stuff..." she was starting to trail off, and gave a yawn.
"I just want to go to sleep...they won't let me sleep..." she mumbled, rubbing her eyes and seeing a Slender Man standing under the light post. Her eyes doubled in size, and she whispered,
"We should really, really go now. It's not safe here..." urgency in her voice, though she kept it down in the hopes that the Slender Man would not hear her. She eyed the wound on her hand as if it had betrayed her, hoping the blood wouldn't draw the creature to them.

((Oh, by the way, in case you haven't noticed, she's kind of more of a reluctant villain type. one personality is a villain, the rest are just easily manipulated.))
