Before experimentation

Details:
A young boy brought up by a poor and religious family. Is captured and experimented on by the Man in Brown. His family's whereabouts at this point are uncertain, but it is assumed that they are dead. A short child, only 4 feet tall in height, no remarkable features.

1st Evolution

Details:
Tongue Elongation, Adamanteum Skeleton, Highly Advanced Immune System, Invulnerable Esophaugus/Stomach Lining, Enhanced Digestive System, Enhanced Leg Muscles for Jumping, More Acrobatic and Nimble.
His height remains a constant of 4 feet, normally being dwarfed by all those around him in terms of size.

Joined the Defenders and did only a small amount of justice in his amateuristic approach to protecting Gaia. He was driven by a sense of upholding the peace and stopping evil, his intentions glorified after being raised Christian all of his life.

2nd and 3rd Evolutions

Details:
2nd Evolution not much different from first, teeth become sharper and tongue becomes even longer than before, Frog Fog(paralytic gas) ability comes to surface, achieved from filtering out toxins, taken in from Iron eating vast amounts of sewage and hazardous chemicals, out of the body through pores; the power stems from Iron's Highly Advanced Immune System. Subject can also use stomach acids from Enhanced Digestive systems to make powerful acidic spray attacks from vomitting onto his foes.
Still is only 4 feet tall.

It should be noted that Iron began to get the taste of human blood around the time his teeth became sharper and he used them against criminals when fighting crime. His sanity began to falter in wake of his animalistic hunger. Eventually he goes on a rampage and eats several people at a bank robbery, he is subsequently defeated and captured by Master of Dragons, is sent to jail frozen.

3rd Evolution is acheived after he is freed from a block of ice in prison, the scientists attempt to steal his genetics during imprisonment and create an army of reptillian super soldiers, experiments are done in the prison and a mistake leads to all of the inmates becoming monstrosities of science, prison is later blown up by bomb. The 3rd Evolution introduces the dual tongues, Frog(elastic tongue)/Snake(forked tongue) genetics mixing, longer abdomen and elongated arms, jaw strength doubled(Crocodile genetics), and a minor regeneration ability is evident(Salamander genes). Also gains minor superhuman strength(Snake Genes).
His height becomes that of 8 feet, due to elongated upperbody, and his arms are 7 feet in length, giving him a hunched appearance.
This evolution alludes and favors using brute force and strength as opposed to his other evolutions, speed and agility.

Sanity at this point is almost completely lost, hunger begins to make Iron betray any comrades he has left. His speech begins to fade as he becomes more feral in behavior.

4th Evolution

Details:
Iron shrinks back down to 4 feet height, regains his fast agility from small size. His skin now becomes completely green, his face now resembling a frog more than a human. His legs are now completely frog-like in appearance, allowing him to make super fast and lengthy leaps within a moments notice. His feet and palms now have sticky pads on the tips of each finger and toe, allowing him to stick to walls. A pouch of skin is on his back that can be stretched to allow Iron to store a pocket of air to be used for Sonic Attacks(Screeching, Sonic Boom, etc.).

A huge transformation worth mentioning is the morphing of his adamanteum skeleton into a more organic material, losing it's magnetic qualities, but ultimately becoming more fragile in the process. His regeneration factor multiplies immensly and can regenerate limbs at within moments if he wished.

Sanity lost. Human speech gone. Animalistic hunger and paranoia of any individual make Iron a hard individual to approach.

5th Evolution

Details:
Similar route from the 3rd Evolution, this evolution boasts power and brute force from sheer size, as Iron grows to a height of 9 feet. Lean and heavy muscle allow Iron to deal out large amounts of damage, but maintain quick bursts of speed and agility although nowhere near as fast as his previous evolutions. A strange malfunction in the evolution causes Iron's eyesight to be very sensitive to light. He begins covering his eyes and relying on his Heat vision(from sensory organs on his tongue, from his Snake Genetics).

This evolution is curiously always seen carrying a large cross strapped to his back, a characteristic that isn't explained very well, perhaps a sign of repentance from his human psyche showing through? It is unclear as to why, but a strange piece of organic pulsating material could be found in a hidden compartment of the cross.

It should be noted that Iron was momentarily brought into the V-League with the promise of fresh meat during this evolution during a skirmish with a hero group.

After the battle Iron is attracted by Nixi, who is in heat, where he attempts to mate with the lamia, but is thwarted through the actions of Raven and Yin Yun Yang's Rabbids.
He sinks lower into paranoia and insanity after missing that opportunity.

In his insanity, Iron massacres Barton Town and eats half of it's residents, devouring both WaterMeat(hero) and Tamea Goldenrod in the process.

6th Evolution

Details:
Iron's stature rockets up to 12 feet, his skin becomes an orange-ish brown and his ears become elongated more acute after the loss of his sight. This evolution is known as the 'Broken Toad', as many would consider this to be a genetic failure, the loss of his eyes, the large bulky arms weighing him down.
The cross is still seen slung over his back, and after an assault on another town, he vanishes before being seen again in his next evolution.

7th Evolution

Details:
A repeat of his 4th evolution, his body started over at his most successful genetic starting point after the mess with the 'Broken Toad', it is unsure whether the Man in Brown played a part in this or not.
Same powers and abilities as the 3rd evolution.

8th Evolution

Details:
Albeit for a short period, Iron grows a turtle shell. It is shortlived however, as the next evolution would drastically change the way Iron would fight.

9th Evolution

Details:
Iron obtains a sleeker and more agile body. More raptor like in apperance than frog. His sticky pads now replaced with sharp talons on each toe and finger. His large headpiece concealing a new second body sprouting out from the back of his head. Both bodies are connected to the same brain via two brain stems, meaning Iron could survive when severely decapitated as long as one of either bodies is still attached to the brain.
Strangely enough, Iron begins to act more tribal, and starts collecting the trophies of his kills. Now he has other reasons for hunting food just for the sake of eating them. His sanity is beginning to resurface and his animalistic hunger is coming under control.

Form seen attending Nixi's Palace for the feast. His paranoia seems to falter in the presence of the lamia, but overall he isn't as aggressive as he once was. It is here where Primal Mind attempts to connect with the beast via telepathy. Once the gateway is open, repressed memories from his past experimentation and his killings resurface and begins to anger the beast. Luckily, Nixi calms Iron down before bloodshed occurs, resulting in one of the only events Iron to attend where he did not try to kill another person.

10th Evolution

Details:
Iron's skin becomes obsidian, his eyes a bright mixture of orange and red. His new form allows him to excel in night-time hunts. He is shown wielding a bow and arrow, showing he is starting to show mammalian traits of using tools to help in his hunts.

He is seen assaulting Remnant and killing another being during one of his night time hunts.

Humanity regained

Details:
Iron regains his humanity due to Kid Whiz's removing his genetic engineering through his 'Meta-depowering event'. At first, he immediately comes to realize all the wrongs he has done, with his sanity coming back completely to the same state he would have had before he became blood-thirsty.
He is seen with Chandier in an attempt to find Whiz to make the change permanent.
