I wouldn't really call my art flawless. ^ ^' I'm still learning and improving after all! =) I find my life drawing classes in college have helped me a lot though!

As for the gore scenario, I draw it myself but to a certain extent. I like to keep the gore in my scenes are realistic as possible, and I've been researching on skeletal mass and muscle so that I can figure out how certain attacks would work against the character, wounds, etc. Research is VERY helpful! :U I've noticed that many teens who draw scenes with blood in them to go WAAAAAY OVERBOARD and have FLOODS and BUCKETS of blood gushing from people (and they'd still be alive) :S That just frustrates me IMO cause you know characters wouldn't be bleeding that insanely. X<

Well the art style of anime has been fairly popular lately. I guess it's because more and more kids of this generation are getting into the whole anime fandom, and that you get the 'not-so-good' artists of the bunch drawing it sweatdrop There are a few people in the art discussion place also moving away from anime - so I don't know how long this anime-drawing trend will last.

And I don't understand the comment with "needs more blood". Then again, gore has been rather popular lately among tweens - young teens. :S I have no clue what they're coming to.

And that's good that you can draw accurate beings. My teachers in art college constantly bug us and say that EVERYTHING derives from life. "So always draw what you see!" It's hard for the few students who've only been drawing animu since their pictures of RL beings have huge eyes and big heads :B

I've seen some cases where people will look at a piece and reply "there should be more blood in this!" or "make her tits bigger!" (with bad grammar of course, but I can't stand degrading my writing when I'm writing sentences like those X/ ) I'm phasing through my anime art stage and attempting to develop newer styles. I really enjoy experimentation too so it's not a painful transition. :3 Would you happen to have a DA account so I can add you or no?

I remember some people telling me I should try applying for the arenas, but after when I took a look, NO ONE there took art seriously =( They only seemed to enjoy pictures with NARUTO OR POKEMON in it and then rated crap for the ones that had great detail e_o and yes... lots of artworks with line sheet paper. Ick :S

Many of my avatars are based off OCs of mine or whatever I can gather up on Gaia. If I could, I'd make more anthro avis - but I don't wanna come off as some sort of furry or anything. Most of the ones I come up with could be taken as typical furry characters = =' Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them, but I don't yiff or do anything with anthro animals e_o
