-Human Frailties-

I think the only reason I like Bleach is because I can seriously connect with Orihime.
She has this fun loving and clueless personality which is really like a facade she throws up to the public. Throughout the series she's a much deeper person and I can connect and empathize with her because she has this really wonderful and unique ability. Honestly I think it's the best ability in the whole damned series. She can reject, limit, and deny things that happen to living and nonliving objects. She can change things that God himself has decided. as Aizen said "She impinges on God's territory" or something like "impinges in the realms of Gods"
But because she's human and has a type of personality where he constantly doubts herself it affects her power and she thinks of herself as a burden, and in battle she's often overlooked or is the one who has to be saved.
That's what I hate about Shonen Jump's heroines.
Alot of Shonen Jumps heroines have these awesome abilities but have this horrible defect that makes them either weak or burdensome.
Sometimes I can't help but think of myself that way alot of the time...

My favorite quotes of Orihime's especially are
"It's not frustrating at all. It's just... it's going to be lonely, not being able to fight alongside everyone. But being lonely isn't nearly as bad as being in the way. If I'm just going to be a hindrance to Kurosaki-kun, to everyone, then it's far better to be lonely"[

"Kurosaki-kun, you know I had a lot of things I wanted to do... I want to be a teacher... I also want to be an astronaut... and also make my own cake shop... I want to go to the sweets bakery and say 'I want one of everything'... Ohhhh, I wish I could live life five times over. Then I’d be born in five different places, and I’d stuff myself with different food from around the world... I’d live five different lives with five different occupations... and then, for those five times... I’d fall in love with the same person...

And my faveorite "If. . . If I were the rain. . . that binds together the Earth and the sky, whom in all eternity will never mingle. . . Would I be able to bind two hearts together?"

Though another heroine I can seriously empathize with is Misa Amane from Death Note.
I don't think I'm anything like her or anything, but again like Orihime she has this awesome ablity (which would be her shinigami eyes) and she's all badass and stuff. She also has this bubbly and clueless personality BUT her obsessive infatuation with Kira RUINED the good things about her. She was soooooo clingy. Sure she was needed, but what ticked me off was that she was just USED throughout the series. I was maddd.
Which made her burdensome but "useful" *cough* to Kira.

Sorry the post's so long but its a very sensitive subject for me when it comes to those heroines. D<
It gets me mad!!
I can empathize and connect with Orihime, but it gets me angry to see Misa's power and affection get used so badly.
As much as I love Kira in that anime I alwayyyyyssss hated how he treated Misa. And I always hated how Misa acted so obsessive and overly infatuated.
