Poem is my soul.

You hold me in your arms

Saying you'll never let go

I gently lift my head

And kiss you

I close my eyes

Wishing that this will never end

I open my eyes

And see that you're gone

I wonder if you were coming back

I wait for days, months, and even years

But you never showed up

I woke up one day

Realizing it was all a dream

About a loser name Liley.

Jay.
I walked to the suite where Yuki was staying at. The door was cracked open a little bit, so I took that as an “okay” to walk in.
And when I did, my jaw dropped.
Holy ********, she looked gorgeous.
Her usual straight brown hair was curled, and her fringe was in a bump. She was wearing a strapless, black dress that stopped mid-thigh with a pair of matching high heels.
“Holy s**t…” I mumbled.
Yuki saw me standing in the door way, and she half smiled, but half frowned.
“Jayyyy!” She laughed and whined at the same time, “You weren’t supposed to come in! I wanted to surprise you!”
“Well… I’m definitely surprised,” I managed to cough out. “What’s all this for?” I added.
Yuki wore a pained look on her face. “Don’t tell me you’re not going to the Masquerade Ball tonight!”
The corners of my mouth went downward a little bit, but I don’t think she noticed.
By the look on my face, I could tell she could tell what the answer was.
“Jay! We’re in PARIS! Why the hell are you not going out?!”
I was still too in shock to answer her.
“Well… uhm… you see, I have this… assignment, right? Yeah, and the teacher… strict, like, extremely, and…”
Yuki slapped me.
“What was that for?!” I laughed.
“Look, I know the whole reason we came to Paris was for the school trade thing. But c’mon, we’re in PARIS! The City of Light! People speak French here! And the best thing: we don’t have to listen to my mother complain for once!” Yuki explained as she twirled around the room.
She took my hand and led me out to the balcony.
We had a whole view of the city.
Even though we stood there, she didn’t let go of my hand.
“Promise me that you’ll try and have fun, please? You don’t have to come tonight. Just… live a little!”
Yuki stared at me with her big, brown eyes with a sincere look.
She squeezed my hand for a second. “Promise?” she asked, sticking out her pinky.
I smirked, but wrapped my pinky around hers.
“Promise,” I whispered.
We stared at each other for a little while.
“Jay, why aren’t you going tonight, anyways?” Yuki whispered.
I shrugged my shoulders. “I dunno, I just don’t-”
And with that, she kissed me.
Right on the lips.
It was a little overwhelming at first, but then everything seemed perfect.
I mean, c’mon! We were in Paris, overlooking the city on a balcony, and kissing. Kodak moment, no?
Our lips finally parted, and I frowned.
“How about if I go, you promise to do that one more time?” I whispered in her ear.
Yuki smirked and kissed my cheek. “How about, we both don’t go, but I promise to do that again? We can stay here forever.”

Talk to meh, talk to meh.
