Background: Nova was your average 17 year old genius. He had his own lab in the village hidden in the sky. One day, while working on an experiment to create lightning out of its natural settlement, an explosion occured. He had recreated the lightning but was unable to contain it. The explosion did not leave Nova unharmed. After many months of physical therapy, Nova is back up to continue his ninja training and scientific experiments. A jounin in his village, Nova is considered a gifted child for his unnatural expertise over earth style ninjutsu. After the explosion, Nova was left with another gift as well, but also a scar. Nova was struck so many times by lightning that the electricity fused int his cells, giving him the power to manipulate lightning. But as proof of his accident, Nova's one brown, surfer styled hair, was permanently transformed white. Never the less, Nova continues his training, putting his experiments on hold during missions. Nova was asked to lead a team of jounin to help the village hidden in the leaves when they were attacked by orochimaru.
