HESTER! Holy. Crap. I missed you and the girls.

It's me, u nd i/Ana! It's been so long that I don't actually know when I made my mysterious disappearance. But my life took a crazy tailspin and I just had to leave everything and focus on the real world/sort everything out. I am so sorry for never explaining my absence, I knew that if I stayed to update y'all, I'd never leave. But everything is fine now. I'm at university, struggling my way through pointless migraines, but loving life!

I found this old mule that I'm using for a fresh start. Is Safe Haven still breathing? I will be heartbroken if she isn't emotion_8c (also loving these new emoticons!) I have refound my Gaian bearings, I'm as up-to-date as I can be, and I so badly want to reconnect with you lovelies.

My husband had a cousin that went to UCDavis, I think he graduated -shrug. Dunno. razz
They're doing good - been listening for noises for awhile now, they should be waking up soon.
I probably should actually get myself up and go check - although 15 minutes ago when I checked, they were both totally asleep still.

I'm glad I found someone else who agrees.

For a school trip we went to a butterfly house (if I would've known we were going I would've stayed home) and it was horrible.
I mean sure it was pretty to a point, but I couldn't deal with so many of those butterflies at once. I felt bad afterwards because I think I killed a few.

Breaking them up may work, but when they're the ones who play "Hero" when something goes wrong (like in Japan), getting help from them wouldn't be as easy.
Canada and some of the other countries help out a lot, but America does do quite a bit of that. I don't think breaking them up would do much good for anyone, but they might be stronger as a country if each state was governed as part of the whole and not something separate.

Oh psh, I don't even know what the capital is.
To be completely honest, I can't remember if it's Ottawa or Toronto that's the capital of Ontario or Canada. I never could remember the two, but they're both in Ontario, so.....
I am a horrible Canadian.

The States are really confusing...Like...you can refer to Canada and other countries as singular, but it sounds weird if you don't pluralize the US.
The US is a country, but...at the same time, it's not a country....I think they should just give themselves a name so that it seems more country-ish.
USA isn't really a name...more of a definition....

Yeah, Canada's a little confusing. I think we've got 13 provinces and territories, I wasn't all that confused by it until we got Nunavut though. I keep forgetting we even have it. We had to split up the Northwest Territories, though, it was like...huge.
And even now, Nunavut is huge.

But the states is like...way worse than Canada as far as that goes. When you really think about the USA, it's kind of hard to see them as a country...And you never really hear about their territories, so everyone just thinks it's the 50 states they've got.

Clearly I've been living under a rock. My uncle informed me that they have a tiny portion of Japan, earlier.
I think the States just has this thing with collecting nationalities.

Yes, yes I am. But I've put my quest on hold until I can get back to gaia full time. I'm kind of sneaking into the guilds when I can but the quest is more work than I thought D:
