When you beat the time trials, like every two or so, you unlock an item to use.

Like... the whistling arrow to confuse the colossi... or the sword that can reflect sunlight in darkness, the masks and cloaks and stuff.

I love it! I've beaten both modes... gotten all unlockables... and scaled the temple all the way to the secret garden.

The scenery is breathtaking, and the music is so beautiful.
