x.X Heart-Shaped Glasses makes me want to throw up and stab myself in the ovaries. I consider myself an original Spooky Kid, so seeing Manson cheat on Dita [whom I completely worship] and come out with a crappy pop-y CD is simply heartbreaking.

The Local Bat

Oh, hey. I guess I've been okay. I don't what to say really. I got a D in film production, thus making it so I could not be a film major anymore. But I was already sick of it anyway. So I moved home to Evansville, IN and am an English major. I was a shoe-in to get A's in three of my classes, but now I'm losing focus. I can get back on track though. I have to drop an education class, because two lates is an absence and four absences is failure, and, well, I've already blown that. I can still drop it, but I'm alredy supposed to go sit in classes at a local high school next monday morning, and well, I'm not at all ready to go to it, so I'm going to have stand up that visit, which will look bad. But hopefully it all turns out okay. I don't know if I covered some of that before, but some of it should be new at least.

Anyway, my move back to Evansville means my band, the Mondays, is no more. I did the last show with them, quite a disaster really-- they didn't care anymore, they've formed a new band, These Magnificient Tapeworms. Of course, the way they hype themselves has always sickened me, even when it was the Mondays and I was in it. But they're actually good, though I'm on very bad terms with the guy with the pony tail in my signature, Alex.

Anyway, I'm self-releasing a collection of demos as myself and several alter-egos forming The Post-Mondays called The Weekend Blues Show. It is going to be on the internet and I'm also making hard copies with booklets (my friend helped me out there, and you can see it at http://subframe.net/file/weekendbluesshow/ if you want to scrounge through the scattered image files of it, lol) for whoever wants them and also to pass out to folks and maybe submit to radio stations. Hey, who knows, lo-fi is in now, right? At any rate, it's 13 tracks and around 80 minutes of music, so I'm happy about that. I wanted to have it released by today, or, well, yesterday as it's 4 in the morning, and was planning on going back to Carbondale this weekend to pass it out to people and show the band I didn't need them. But there was an ice storm in this area, and my car is an ice cube. So everything is getting pushed back. I hope to go get the album inserts printed and start making the hard copies tomorrow, and hopefully my friend Sean will also put them on the internet then. Anyway, that's been consuming me as of late, and now that it's done, I hope I can get re-focused on school.

Anyway, probably more than you wanted to know about my life at the moment. How are you?
