Behold A Great Red Dragon!

I do not love thee, Dr Fell,
The reason why I cannot tell;
But this I know, and know full well,
I do not love thee, Dr Fell.

Case file No 148
"[Clarice] continues to work case after case, burying herself in her work. It is as Hannibal had said, she fears: that she will forever have to earn the silence of those screaming lambs. He had shown her the cure for the screams, and now she is always searching for it, again and again.
He had the planted the seed. Left his imprint in her mind upon their first meeting. Now, she is forever haunted by his ghost.
Clarice brings her wandering thoughts back to the present. Her ear strains to hear the taps of her feet on the gravel.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
She stops and turns slowly around. Checking, as she often does. Checking to make sure that she is the only one there.
Silence.
Yes, she decides, she is haunted.
Forever haunted.

Cheers.
I adore the Hannibal series, and Lector as a character. Part of that could have something to do with my aspirations to be a forensic psychologist, but who knows?
Either way, he's a charismatic, brilliant character, and I'm delighted to see that someone else seems to appreciate him.
*tips invisible hat*
But your profile is magnicifcent, and Hannibal is one of [if not THE] greatest men to ever live.
Lecter f~!!^^
