Oh okay.
For guilds: any guild is a good guild (usually). Just type a hobbie/interest/anything in the search bar and you'll find a guild which contains many people who share this interest. There are many guilds to choose from. Keep in mind that with guilds that have a lot of members you will be one of the crowd and must make yourself heard. With guilds with few members it may not always be active and therefore there may not be many conversations and whatnot. Any question on a specific guild? I'm not really that guild-savy, but I'll try to help. c:

The gaia tour shown when you first sign up can be pretty helpful, especially sice it gives you a head start gold-wise.
