Kira, it is probably nothing. I do suggest telling your mom about the math problems though. It can get a little bad if you do not address it.

Yeah that does suck. Last year (Pre-Algebra) I sat in the back of the classroom, and did nothing if I could. Do look into getting help with it. I know it would be more work on your part, but you should try for help~!! I remember how hard math was last year. It only gets worse (Unless you go into stupid people math. But I hear it is okay.) Just look for help~ It will be good for you.

Well I'm glad I could kind of help. When other kids did reading logs, I woulds be like the only kid in my class who didn't. (Now that I think about it... I don't do a LOT of things...)

Try to speak to your teacher. It may sound scary but it can help. In math we have a text book (LE GASP!) with WAY to much text, I usually freak out because I don't notice the instructions. My mom talked to my teacher about how I am having trouble with it, and my teacher pointed out how the other day I freaked out in class (Thank god I go to a Charter School!) over some problem involving Properties. After I came back into the classroom from being calmed down, she pointed out how I forgot to read the instructions. I also used to have issues reading when I was younger. I had been telling my mom about how hard the textbook is and she put two and two together. I was just happy it turned out I wasn't a retard who hadn't learnt a thing.

Kira, if it comes down it, you could try to request that your teacher gives you tests with the numbers written out. And just try to work on it. I remember in my second year of Second grade (Yes, I went to second grade twice. >_<...) I had to stay after school to learn how. This lasted for a long time. I had to learn how to write my name too! DX XD (I was a special child) It may also come down to you having to read the number multiple times. The only thing that comes to mind when you talk about this is Dyscalculia, but I have a feeling that I am wrong. Because it doesn't sound exactly like what you have. To me it does sound more like Dyslexia.
