Yeah it can be hard. Me and my ex also did just the online thing. We did talk one time, and it was fun, but then I noticed he wasn't really into me after that. Maybe my voice pushed him away? sweatdrop

Whatever the case may be, only you can decide if you are happy in your relationship. Long distance is...long (lol), and so is four years, but you have to ask yourself:

Is it really worth it?

lol yeah i do. I hated not being able to see my ex-bf (long distance). It was hard. then again, if you guys really like or even love each other (which me and my ex didn't as much), then you will be okay

You need PHYSICAL intimacy...online dating and phone chats will only go so far. Everyone needs that "touch" or even just to see the other person every once in awhile (if not daily)

Its a funny thing, long distance relationships. I had one with someone here on gaia too, but then I decided it was a bad idea mostly because its hard for me to be online at times. The other reason being we are too far away from each other, and that makes it more hard since you want companionship you can see or feel. Exchanging pohne numbers helpm but not a lot.

Still, if you and him are determined to be together, you will find a way to work things out. You just have to hang in there. 3nodding
