Embarassingly slow. Boss made my three hours of work forfeit because he didn't register for the facility that I was using. So I had to stop what i was doing and, essentially, what I was working on is null now. So... I'm just grumping upstairs.

Ha, sorry! I currently reside in the midwest United States, Wisconsin to be exact. I've got family across the pond that I visit for extended stays and I've got a good deal of clan pride, but I'm pretty dang American at heart. I actually didn't sell at ACen. I thought about it, but that's the convention I've been going to with friends since I was just a kid, and it's nice to have at least one con a year that's just for fun. Didn't even come close to finishing my costume, but oh well. Next year!

Ah, a writer! It's a huge accomplishment to even get to a point where you are satisfied with your own work, so even if the publishers don't take a liking to it, ********. There are alternatives out there to big name publishers. A lot of folks self publish on Amazon, and while it's no fancy big book deal, it's a place to start . Lord knows I'm guilty of buying a bunch of strange stuff on a whim there. And no I am not comparing your hard work to terrible things I buy while drunk because the titles make me laugh, but I am saying there is a market for everything if you know where to look. I also know some folks that have self-published and done convention circuits with fantasy/mystery novels and one lady even got a decent fan following and was picked up by Penguin. My best mate's crashing with me on and off working on a book too, and Timmish is slaving over writing for a game. I'm just surrounded by creative people and I never knew it! I love a protagonist with terrible luck though, so when it comes out you should give me the title because I'd love to read it.

The fragments themselves are quite pricey, but I'm hoping the wave of spending will push some more folks into the reward tiers and then we'll see a slightly lower price. I don't have much in the way of pure gold at the moment, just 6.5B, but if you want it, it's yours. Once I finally get around to clearing out my inventory a bit (curse this hoarding of mine!) I should have more funds to send.

Whelp, I only noticed the reply now, but I was at Anime Central. The rest of it was indeed a lot of fun. Spend and drank more than I should have, but no regrets.

Sounds like you've had a good time yourself! What do you intend to write?

Man, your quest is just breezin' right along, I'm hoping with this sale there will be a promo for more fragments you can grab for a song.
