About
hii ^__^
My name is Fredi. I am a student, living in New York City.
When I'm not attending school, or working on school assignments, I spend my time by listening to music, illustrating, reading, or visiting different places in the city.
I am German, Thai, and Chinese. Most people don't recognise this.
I am probably the most sentimental person you will ever encounter.
In addition to English, I speak German, French, and a little bit of Latin. I will be studying French at the 5th level this year in school.
I am a very open-minded and liberal person. I don't judge or identify people by their sexuality, religion, beliefs, etc. People shouldn't be defined by what/who they are.
I have the most vivid and grotesque dreams. Sometimes, I can't distinguish reality from my own imagination.
Oh, and in case you haven't noticed yet -- I'm a girl.
To me, reading philosophy is productive way to use up my time. Reading the ideas of others allows me to expand my own mind and understand the world through a different perspective. I also like reading works by influential authors, not only philosophers.
As a young American, I feel the need to be involved and aware of what is happening, concerning the war in Iraq. I'm against the war. I believe the war has only made America look more aggressive and greedier to the rest of the world. War won't provide us with a solution.
I also wish more people my age would become more aware about the world.
I have a cat, and he's quite the devil.
In my free time, I enjoy watching films. I mainly watch foreign, independent, and vintage films. I like films that portray an idea or express a strong emotion.
I like people who can think for themselves,
Ppeople with their own point of view.
I love reading!
I dislike people who cannot think for themselves, and who just follow the crowd. It shows a lack of individuality and purpose.
I listen to a variety of different kinds of music.
Some of my favorite music is classical/orchestral music. I mostly enjoy works by Chopin, Clint Mansell, John Williams, Howard Shore, Shigeru Umebayashi, and all that
orgasmic stuff. I also like opera.
Most of all, I appreciate music with atmosphere and emotion. Lyrics aren't always necessary, but if it represents itself as audible art, I like it.
