They're not ever going to fix that. You can remove it in your settings but it changes the action of clicking on wishlist items. We opt for coding to remove the sparkles. Try this out:
.owner_checkmark, .premium_sparkle,
#avatar_menu+div+div, #footer~script[src*='blockedimage']~script+script+div[style*='display']~div, noscript+script+script+noscript+div[style*='display']~div

I just found your thread. I also noticed it is still a problem. I'm so sorry no one ever responded. I think there might be away to align this properly but coders usually just remove the sparkles.
