I am really shy if I dont know you but when you become my friend and i get to know you more, I will talk like crazy! So dont hesitate to add me!

It has been a really long time since i heard from you --- you doing OK? Here in Iowa life continues to move under "Murphy's Laws"! Our microwave went belly up this week so I had to go buy a new one. We looked at Walmart first and then checked over at Target for price comparison & went back to Walmart to purchase the West Bend unit they had (only one left on the shelf when we went back so we grabbed it up quick, which meant charging 2/3 of the cost to my credit card!) It is only .9 cubic feet but at least it is 900 watts instead of 700 like our old Sharp Carousel was --- had it and used it daily for almost 17 years so cooking the old fashioned way entirely for an extended period just was not an appealing option; we had to heat water in a pan the other night in order to make jello because we quit using a tea kettle for anything years ago!!! If I have to, I can fix a complete holiday meal in the microwave. We brew our tea in the coffee maker so I have been tempted lately to watch prices on individual cup coffee makers and purchase one of those soon since we seem to drink considerably less coffee than tea.
Well, I won't bore you any further with the hum drum details of life in "podunk center" any longer. Hope you are doing fine and are enjoying your summer holiday from the school grind!
God bless,
"Emmie"
How are you doing? Are you looking forward to the end of the school year soon? My youngest niece is graduating from SCC with her AA Degree this month; however she will still go there the next couple of years or so to obtain her BA from Buena Vista U. under a brand new program so she will be able to continue living at home while in college. Since she is the "baby" in the family, I think her parents are glad she is not moving out just yet. Pearl of Wisdom Alert: Don't be so anxious to grow up & get out on your own that you fail to enjoy home & family while you still have the opportunity to do so! Things can happen so suddenly & unexpectedly in life and change everything with no more last chances to do or say something that you wish you had done before "they" happened. If I don't hear from you before then, have a great summer!!!
God bless,
"Emmie"
Where are you hiding yourself these days? Winter is beginning to recede so you ought to come to Gaia to play with all of us! Are you mad at us for something?
Miss you,
"Emmie"
Is the bottom item list in your profile your wish list? I might be able to help you out with a couple of items. If you don't like something I send or really can't use it, feel free to sell it or gift it to someone else!
Catch you later,
"Emmie"
I had to work both Christmas Eve and Christmas night so our celebration was really brief -- didn't really get into the Christmas spirit until about one week before.
I figure it is just old age catching up with me so that I don't juggle everything as well as I used to be able to do when my daughter was in school -- sometimes it
is still hard to believe that she is already 27 years old!
Have a great new year,
"Emmie"
Anyways good to see you again. c:
