Oh, don't worry about me. It really was fine, but mom was in tears. No matter what we go through, I always tell her it's all right and I don't mind. Danielle's the same way. She's touched that we don't care about gifts or clothing, because she knows a lot of girls my age would be livid that they didn't get the sweater they wanted, or they didn't get the toys they asked for. I don't care about that. I just want my family to be safe. D: Of course, I did tell my father he was being unfair when he said he wasn't going to go looking for my present. He said he was done shopping in November. I just had it... and I lost it. I've never felt shame, and I'm ashamed of that.

It'll go good for me, don't worry. ^^ I don't believe in jinxes. Though I will say, some a*****e broke into my mother's car last night. I heard something, went downstairs, but couldn't see anything because it was three in the morning. I should have gone outside. I even had a knife in my hand in case there really was someone there. I'm the most violent in the house. ^^; Anyone who breaks in will probably be killed if I'm the one who finds them.

...actually, I think I'll be relieved when a nice Christmas comes along. I got some good gifts, but mom was in a bad mood all day, dad's a jackass no matter what season it is, and Nina ruined Christmas dinner by saying she wasn't coming, and then showing up five minutes before dinner started. We didn't have enough food for her or her boyfriend. Christmas has been getting less and less memorable for my family. Last year, we didn't even decorate because we were all so depressed. This year, I tried, but I can't do everything by myself.

XD At least twice the 50k limits. I stopped when I reached 51K, but the story's not done yet.
I can't let any distractions in or it'd take hours for me to draw. With writing, I need to be careful. I can be on AIM, but I can't be talking to more than one person or I'll be going so slow.
XD How do I explain the miracle that is DN!? Well, basically, this guy finds a notebook called 'Death Note' that kills people when you write their names in it. Basically, he goes insane, and nearly succeeds in changing (or more, destroying) the world. I won't spoil the ending. XD It's an ironic one, though.

XD For a last minute costume, it came out really well!
I'm 20 words under being done (not kidding, either. Pissed me off to see that yesterday), so today I'll be finished with it. No, it won't be submitted for publication, because it's not even half done yet. ^^; 50K of words literally translates into seven chapters of the story.
^^ Thanks! I'm going to keep practicing with the tablet, I might switch to it totally for fan art, but for really difficult drawings, I may draw it on paper first and then trace it on the tablet.

XD I'll send you a PM with the links to the pictures. And, I'm almost done with NaNo. I've got around 42k of words, and a week to get just 8k written. I can usually do 1200 to 3200 words a day, so I could have it done by the 25th. biggrin I'm getting there!

;_; I'm sorry to hear you were sick. If it helps, no one came trick or treating at my house. XD I have a pic of my costume in my journal somewhere if you wanna see what I was. Also, I hope you took a picture. XD I'd like to see someone dressed as a hippie.
I've been all right. Working to finish NaNo on time. I'm over 35,000 out of 50,000 words, but I'm getting nervous that I won't make it. I have ten days left to write 14,000 - 12,000 words depending on how many I have. I don't check every day. I've also been drawing with my tablet, and my skills with it are getting really good. I drew a picture of Mello from Death Note with a bunch of Skitty near him, and then another picture of the main character in my novel. She came out really well, seeing as how she was my first picture that I didn't use a trace for. So, all in all, I'm just fine. :3

XD I haven't run out of ideas, and since I've begun actually creating my book, the whole world the book is centered around seems to be exploding with life. I've already got an idea for NaNo this year, I'm going to submit a draft of a story I'm considering publishing, if I finish it on time. Fanfiction is one thing, but when you write something all your own, the feeling is just so amazing. And, for some reason, it's much deeper if it's your own creation. Probably because you don't need to worry about keeping other peoples' characters in character, or centering around a world you didn't create. I'm actually starting to get out of writing fanfiction. I still do it, but working on my own book is much more fulfilling.
... D: Oh... I never took that into account. *crosses off 'kidnap Marc' on my To-Do list*
Yeah, I've found people take a lot of pleasure making you feel like crap. I've had more people on this site tell me I'm ugly than in real life. It'd be depressing, but internet is easier to insult people with because there's no emotional conscience to the offender. To them, they're typing words on a screen, and they don't care how anyone takes it as long as it buffs their own ego. I have pride, but I hate offending anyone, and I think using the internet to do that is an all-time low.
Thanks. :3 I'm still trying, but it seems cat costumes are in the same class as the 'sexy witch' and 'dark, little fairy' costumes now... D: It makes me sad, because the cat ears used to be just a separate accessory, and I can't find one without having to buy an entire costume.

^^ I'm very good at it, but some genre I'm better at than others. I like writing fantasy, but it tends to be of a darker sort. I'm not good at writing innocent faerie tales. I'm great with comedy, and I've tried my hand at mystery as well. I find that it really depends on plot. If I have a serious plot and I try to put humor into it, it doesn't come out quite like I want. I usually have to rely on my dialouge casting most of the humor if I'm working on a serious plot.
Ohh, that's not far at all! I think my dad's driven me there in less than an hour.
Meh. Photoshop is good if you're messing around with pictures, like drawing random stuff on it, but other than that, I really don't think it's a good idea to 'fake' your appearance. On the internet, it's for obvious reasons.
XD I'm having poor luck finding a pair that isn't pink or purple. I want black ones, but I've yet to come across a pair that's specifically for a cat costume. Nowadays, I find a combo cat/mouse ear set.

^^ Anything artistic makes me happy. I'm VERY good with writing. My mother says that even though I'm self-taught, and even with the little bit she's been teaching me the past few months, my writing is amazing, especially from this year. She says I might be able to go professional, without having any professional help. I'm also very good with drawing, too, and my skill with that is helping me immensely with this job. Mucking around in Photoshop for hours helps, too. XD I never do that with pictures, though. I want people to see the real me.
MA... I should know what that stands for, but I don't. XD I wonder how close it is to Albany... I could visit you. If I could pull it off as a surprise, that'd be awesome. I'm VERY sneaky, and you totally wouldn't know I was there until I scared the s**t out of you. razz Not to sound weird or anything...
^^ Thanks. My hair is naturally like that, and everyone really loves it. People ask all the time how I get it like that, and I can never answer, because all I do is add a LITTLE water to it on the days I don't shower. What's sad is that I seem to be setting a trend here, because I see more and more people with my kind of hair every day, and I recognize them. Normally, they didn't have the hair last month. Makes me feel a little less special.

I'm doing a bit better. biggrin I official have a job as a graphic designer now. I'm working with my mother and her friend to help with their business. I've only done one design for them, but they like it so far, and mom's friend actually gave me a list of icons to design now. I've never been happier.
Unfortunately, I managed to catch a cold from my little sister, but it's clearing up quickly. It hasn't even been a week since I got it, so hopefully I'll be back to my old self in no time.
I'm glad to hear you're doing well. ^^ Good luck with applying to college. I'm still working toward my GED, though I've taken time off so I can get used to working with a drawing tablet. I've used pen and ink for some time, the tablet's hard to get used to. But I'll get it eventually.
I love the picture! Though, I will say, you look older than you said you were. If I hadn't known, I'd have guessed you were older than I. razz I'm also going to guess you've seen the new pic of me in my profile, eh?

I'm worried I might have a problem, because nothing seems to get my energy back up. I sleep about 6 hours a night most nights (it's been 4 1/2 - 5 lately because of my sister's stupid dog going into heat, which is making my poor dog insane), so I might be a little sleep-deprived. But I'm constantly tired. I can't go out without getting tired a few minutes later.

I've been all right. Been tired most of the time. I swear, the inside of my body must be over a million years old. Everything I do makes me very tired.
