It takes understanding auto-events and how to get events to move and interact with each other. It takes an hour sometimes to make one minute of scene, because you need to test your game to make absolutely sure it works. It's difficult to explain, but it involves auto-events, flags, and sometimes parallel processes to get them to work. I wouldn't be able to do it if I hadn't already had experience with RPG Maker 2.

Since I am so obsessed with Soul Calibur you avi is a mix between Nightmare (because of your right arm) and Cervantes (the sword and the head)

It's actually working great. XD I'm finally getting better at evening out enemy statistics versus the character's parameters. Providing a decent challenge during a fight is the hardest part, especially since I testplay my game with the main character on level 99 (makes it easier to see if my cutscenes after boss battles work).

XD I've been up that late before, though mine is purely from low bloodscores.

XD Because there's a city called New Lebanon here in NY. The basis is that the outcast magician is using the House of the Message (a cult which is based on an actual group called the Abode of the Message) to spread his curse, and that through their worship, he gains power over NL and the surrounding cities. Shodack (which is close to New Lebanon) is starting to suffer monster attacks, and the magician ransacked Castleton because one of the heroes lived there. All of the cities (with the exception of Roseset Isles) are based off of actual places.

An outcast magician spread a curse to the city of Lebanon, NH, and it released dangerous monsters that slaughtered the entire city, and the curse is spreading toward the capital. My character goes to the mayor of Albany to apply for the bill to destroy the monsters near the city, and basically, you learn about the curse and the plot for it throughout the game.

Working like a dog. XD But other than that, pretty good. I found a copy of RPG Maker XP and I'm actually making a game with it, spent the weekend (and some of my free time during the week) on that, which was a blast.
