I had fun earning my gold back than, talking to people and whatnot. Booty Grab and other features like it have made Gaia less social for me. The only reason I really stay on Gaia anymore is because of a few friends and the art I can buy on here through the Gaia Gold. Although I don't quite agree with the money thing, Gaia does that because it cost thousands just to keep this site up and even more for the employees and supplies and contest.

That is one reason why I hate Gaia now. Before Booty Grab or other quick rich features on Gaia, I spent months trying to get the Spartan's Cloak, while it was still worth a million gold (so it was incredibly hard to get). I finally bought it around last year a little before zOMG! was released in Open Beta, and I was so happy when I finally completed my goal. A few months later and the Fortune Egg was released with the Spartan Cloak as one of the common rewards at level five.

So the price of it went down from one million gold to 200K and has only dropped in price ever since. And with Booty Grab that was released a few months later, anyone can get it with only a day's effort. I am still majorly pissed about that, I spent half a year on that item and now anyone can get it in one day.

It is never fair, I lost simply due to the feet I chose. But oh well, Gaia itself isn't exactly fair.
