Ian's weird. He's also really bad at insults. His sister is very close with her principal so the principal arranged 2 Japanese girls to stay over at his house for 10 days to study. He uses that against me for everything. And Japanese girls are super shy, holy crap, I was at his house and just for fun I welcomed them home in Japanese. They just giggled and ran into their room.

You have to both at the same time - I'm sorry - but both are equally important. Memorizing will get you no where - you have to UNDERSTAND the language. Chances are - you won't need to know 7 ways of saying: "I'll kill you.", "I'll avenge you." or - "I wiil be Pirate King."

I'm practicing my hiragana. I finished 4 rows in one day. I need to know all the hiragana, most of katakana and at least 20 kanji. It's a goal. I know 6 kanji.
