In the last few weeks, I have received a couple Comments and PM's requesting information about various hacks, exploits and other ways to alter your gold and items.
To clarify, I do not have any programs to assist you, nor have I used any programs, so I am unable to tell you how to use a program you may have acquired elsewhere. Any future messages of this nature may be deleted or reported without contact from me.
If you are here because you googled some combination of [gaia, online, gold, editor] or something of that nature, just leave now. I have no information for you nor can I help.
If you were on Youtube and saw some a video of somebody changing their gold, it's a scam. What you are watching is somebody who has taken an image of the source for the home page (notice the lack of movement on the Daily Chance and flash headline box) and are simply changing the text, not the actual amount. Don't fall for this, Don't give anyone your password, (i certainly don't want anymore password e-mailed to me by people who can't be bother to read or think for themselves) Again anyone who does contact me to tell me a password, risks being reported for TOS violation.
If you feel you have been hacked, first off, I am sorry to hear that, but if the above isn't clear on this point, I had nothing to do with it. Please report your hacking with the correct report. If you contact me to accuse me of actions of this nature, again I may delete your contact without responding. If you choose to accuse me and then ask me to send you something, I will treat your message as an attempt at extortion and you will be reported.
One last bit, think for a second, if these gold hacks worked why do these people need your password when they could just send you the gold in a trade, If you were stupid enough to hand your password to somebody you don't know in the hopes of getting gold, it was your own damn fault.
Hack the planet, not Gaia Online.
