New profile, new times, new start...to an extent. Firstly, merci to Kieryn for creating my profile as my old one pained and disgruntled him whenever he visited my page (and we don't want an unhappy Kieryn).
Secondly, there really isn't much to tell and clearly nothing that many would be interested in. There isn't as much time to spend on gaia these days, there's probably even less desire to do so. But there is still this need to emphasise the difference between what happens on gaia and what happens outside of it. So to avoid any future confusion, my character on gaia is just that; a character which I roleplay with. His feelings, his actions to do not transcend beyond this site. Perhaps I put a little piece of myself into his persona but we are two different entities and should be regarded as such.
The internet should be considered a medium of self expression, be who you want to be and do what you want to do. It's only when you allow real emotions, real people to get involved in your life that the 'character' has to then give way to the player. That said, I make a point of not getting involved with people online out of character, and try to keep nothing more than a friendship between players.
So tread carefully, there's no room here for the soft and gentle-hearted.
