Winter’s EveThe moon is bright on this winter’s eve
I have no energy left to grieve,
For it is such a joyous sight
Oh the moon on this perfect night.
I have been forgiven, my life’s okay
At least for another tiring day.
The day shall come when my being shall fail
Then I know all shall hail
For the passing of a tortured soul
Let them know I now feel whole.
I’ve lived my life the ups the downs
And still managed not to drown.
Let them all not shed one tear
But only to look t’ward the Seers.
Shout ‘come hither’ for them to find
All the memories I’ve kept inside.
My being tires I must depart,
But all who care for me share my heart.
