Again, I like the mystery surrounding his past, and in my opinion your character is top quality. I hope they approve it soon (I will poke Sere and Aglo if it will help).

Ok, so prior to a decade ago, in his former house, he had no combat training of any kind or even experience fighting with other slaves because his former house accorded him different status? Was he a non-combat artisan of some sort for that house, like an artist or some such... or perhaps a dancer/entertainer or consort to a house female? I suppose this is part of the mystery (maybe he was even a noble, though it would be unlikely a noble male would be allowed to survive without learning some decent level of swordplay or magic), so not neccessary to elaborate, but just trying to determine why at 318 years of age, he has spent a good portion of time not engaged in any kind of conflict until a decade ago upon his capture and enslavement by the new house. Also, his spell resistance wouldn't really be an immunity, just an random chance for any spell that hit him to fizzle out; the reason to clarify this point is that some beings have actual immunity to spells or spell types which is true immunity, not like spell resistance, which is just a degree of partial resistance.

Hi, was just reading Ryldaufein's description in UG. I notice he is said not to be too confident in a fight against a mage. Also notice that he is 300+ years of age, which means he would be quite experienced. Does Ryldaufein possess the standard magic resistance which drow are born with and develop naturally as they rise in power? For example, a newly graduated drow fighter from an academy (usually 2nd level in D&D terms) would have a roughly 40-50% chance to completely slough off a low power spell from a newly graduated drow mage. Certainly a highly advanced mage could overcome Ryldaufein's resistance more easily, however, with Ryldaufein's age and experience as a brawler, I would imagine his innate racial spell resistance naturally rose as well such that an equally experienced mage would need to be prepared to have spell attacks wash over Ryldaufein like water on a duck's back fairly often. Drow mages are usually keenly aware of their magic having a harder time affecting other drow opponents. You probably were aware of this, but my curiousity was piqued so I thought I would comment. I also like the mystery which surrounds your character as the previous house affiliation is left shadowed.
