Well, to begin with,my personality does not fall into any of the more widely-known categories, such as emo,goth, nerd etc. I'm a little bit of everything.I've been emo,and still have my moments, am a physics-obsessed nerd and a self-confessed bibliophile, a philosopher in the true sense of the word, extremely absent-minded most of the time(hence the name Distracta, as in distracted) and love music. I listen to and read everything that strikes my fancy, and do not profess loyalty to any particular genre( though I do have very prominent Gothic leanings in all my interests). I like writing, though many people don't know this about me, because I don't like to show anyone what I write.I'll tell you the reason, only if I trust you enough.
So, in the end, I'm just me,take it or leave it!
OK, so I was reading what I've written and I realized that I sound like a major snob with all the'philosopher in the true sense' rubbish.
But let me explain. The word philosopher has come from the Greek words 'phile' and 'sophie' meaning 'affinity or love' and 'wisdom' respectively. So a philosopher is simply a person who loves wisdom, who knows that she doesn't know much and this deficiency bothers her enough to make her seek desperately for more knowledge.
Ok, I sound like a major nerd now. But I guess you can't have everything.
