About
Welcome to my profile. Sit down, grab a cup of coffee...What, you don't like coffee? Infidel! Unclean! Unclean!!
*cough*
Sorry. I hail from the Pacific Northwest where $4 coffees are a daily staple for many of the locals, including myself.
I've been on and off Gaia for quite a while now. I quit my job and moved across the contiguous United States in order to attend graduate school. I have completed my first year in that school now--hopefully explaining the several-months-long gaps between visits to Gaia. I still indulge in $4 coffees quite often--I used to work in a store that had a Starbucks kiosk that I would visit once or twice daily.
Oh, and about the giveaway....
What is the freezing temperature for water in Kelvin?
No answers. It's 273.15 Kelvin, people! Google is your friend!
Ok...new question. Last summer, the FDA considered removing acetaminophen-containing products like Percocet and Vicodin from the market. (Tylenol is the brand name for acetaminophen by itself.) Why did they consider this--or, which organ in the body is damaged by too much acetaminophen?
Reward is 1000 gold.
I occasionally put up questions for people to answer, with gold as the reward for the right answer. The questions I post here shouldn't be too hard--they're random trivia with a scientific bent. If you don't know the answer off the top of your head, a quick search on Google can do wonders--but I am going to disqualify answers copied straight from Wikipedia.
If the colored text says "Stay tuned," it means I am thinking of another question or I don't have enough gold. That's right. I'm poor. I work my fingers to the bone to exercise generosity to you guys. And do I get any thanks for it? Do I?!
Well, actually, I do get thanks from people, which is awesome.
