Go to MY GAIA
ACCOUNT SETTINGS
Go about in the middle on the left side where it says, CHANGE USERNAME
Type in your new name and new password if you want it, and then type in your old password to save it.
Then at the very bottom click, SAVE ALL CHANGES.
And then from there it should be working as your new stuffs. ^.^
