Ahaha. That's even more confusing than our school system. D;

If I'm writing a story, I always have to go to Google and type in "What grade would you be in if you were 16?" or something, so I know where the character will actually be in school. xD

Psh! Your schools are confusing as hell. And they sound so stressful. D;

We have years 1 to 6 as primary school. And that's from 6 years old to 11 years old.
Then high school is years 7 to 11. And that's 11 years old to 16 years old.

So, technically, I've already left school. biggrin
But I got to sixth form, which is like a college.

And then at 18, I can go to university.
