I think the intuos 5 came out recently but I'm not sure when.
it took me a long time to get used to photoshop but holy heck do I love the way their layers work. I still probably don't even know how to use 1% of that program though because it is so complicated... the book I have for it is like an inch thick. I've tried a few different versions of photoshop but I think cs4 is the one I like best. Gimp is okay I used to use it years ago before I was able to get photoshop, I think for being a free program it really is amazing.
All this art talk is making me want to draw XD but I don't think I'm going to have time this week unless I get super lucky and manage to get the kids down for naps so I can finish all this work I have. Bleh. *procrastinates*

What sort of art program do you plan to use? I have a wacom tablet (intuos 4 I think) and photoshop but damn it was hard to get used to using x.x I do love the overall look of finished digital art over traditional. Before I drew that avi art for you I don't think I had used my tablet in months maybe even over a year O.o my hand was so sore since it wasn't used to drawing for that long lol XD I'm hoping I can get good-ish again and nail down a style I like.

I cannot wait to see what she comes up with! I'll get to have beautiful art in my signature now! The three of us will look so awesome hitting the forums with our new art ^^
Yea and whats with that guy offering in the thousands? >< I get better stuff from the dumpster dive lol. I mean I could see someone offering in the high thousands for basic line art of a head shot but something colored >< come on....

I really like that one! If you need to beef up our offer I'll help I have a few of the items from her wishlist that I could throw in since wings are a huge pain in the a** to draw... Let see... I have a Jekyll's Ethics I'm not overly crazy about that you could throw in.
300 mil seems pretty reasonable though now with the inflation. I don't even think 800 mil would be terrible for anything that's not chibi.
