HEAL OUR LAND



If our land is to be healed, we must recognize the true problem. There are many issues facing our country

today; we are filles with division and infighting. Corruption at every level and in every walk of life permeates

us. We could go on and on about the sumptoms! The root disease is more easily discerned.



We as a nation have refected the authority of the LORD. Jehovah God is the only true and living God, and

when a nation submits to His leadership and recognizes His position, then blessings are bound to follow.

When God is not recognized as the Supreme authority, sin becomes rampant; every man does that which is

right in his own eyes. Sin brings reproach; reproach is what we have. God please heal our land is our prayer.

GOD THAT HEARS

What a great blessing to know that we have a God that hears, delivers, and is close to us when we have troubles. The Bible says that the afflictions people experience are many. But God is there in so many ways to help.



The key word in those three verses at the bottom is "righteous". It is the "righteous" that God hears, the "righteous" that God is close to, and the "righteous" that God delivers. I believe "the righteous" not only means saved, but righteous in heart and life. There are benifits to staying right with God! There are benifits for living according to God's ways! Who knows when you or I will need to "cry out" to God? Who knows when we will need Him to deliver? Live right, think right, act right, love right--there are benifits!
