Oh yeah.. I've had that.. ._.'' Being chronically dehydrated I mean..
It's why I drink so much water now. Dx
But I'm in Michigan.. Freezing here. >.<;

I'm kind of scared to ask now... What would it be like if it was going crazy? o.o;

Hahaha... I get that.. I did that a lot.. Although at the beginning of the series too.. And the middle. >.>;;

I'm not sure.. I think it was more dehydration.. Which is weird, I drink a lot of water..
And I woke up with that.. ._.''
Plus I don't really drink (that is to say I don't) so I definitely wasn't hungover.. Dx
But yeah.. I have a weak immune system, I tend to get sick a lot. ._.''

Rofl.. I understand that... When the pressure builds you just want to give up and find something relaxing to do..
Not always a bad thing.. If you can relax a bit it'll help you focus when you need it. =)

Ah.. I'm not really sure what was up.
I pretty much had flu like symptoms though..
High temperature, but I felt clammy, light headed/dizzy, no blood reaching my head really..
Trouble eating and throwing up..
Heightened by distorted sense of smell and taste..
I spent about four days just eating a rice porridge before I could keep down anything really solid. ._.''
Wasn't fun. Dx But I'm alright now mostly..
Still have trouble with some tastes which make me gag unreasonably. Dx

Yeah.. It's going to take a while.. You can either read the manga and get stuck with thost cliffhangers..
Or wait for the next series/season of the anime and then get stuck with those later.. It's so popular there's bound to be more.
Ironically it's one of the things I've managed to avoid despite the popularity. x]]

GI issues? o.o; What do you mean? o.o; I'm so confused and lost in this conversation. T^T

o.o; That is weird. XD Now that I think about it, my friends used to play a lot way back when but not so much anymore. u.u

Yeah, I tend to prefer for things to finish first. >.<; But I have trouble finding that much to read that I'm interested in that's complete. =x
But I know what you mean. xD The only problem is when I do a series that's complete I tend to binge or do a marathon and just spend my whole day (or week or more) at it. Dx

Oh, yeah... I can understand that, but it's about modern style magical girls! How can there not be power behind emotions?! D:
Yeah.. xD That's something that bugs me about stories with arcs also most of the time..
Ironically although One Piece tends to just stick to it's formula even after a major arc there are constant references to the past stories.. (not the anime though, there are fillers in that which contradict the actual story).
Still, since it follows a formula the overall story is predictable, but more minor details aren't.

Yeah, I love rereading Watchmen just to find more details and such. Dx
If you get a chance you may pick up more of his stuff. Avoid his work on Spawn though. =x

Yeah, I'll probably forget about it also in a few weeks more. >.<;
I only remembered because I happened upon it again recent. Dx

So how was your weekend? =)

Sumasuun

o.o; Oh, I've heard of that.. That does sound fun. ;D
Omg if I had a friend to do that with I'd never see the light of day. T^T

Yeah, most seem to do that..
I guess what I want out of a VRMMO story is high fantasy && adventure, but with minor hints coming up showing it's a game and it's limited.
At the moment the only thing I've found is the light novel (I think it's Korean. makes sense) The Legendary Moonlight Sculpture which is unfortunately a lot less popular. u.u''
It's been going on for much longer too, it's over 30 volumes. xD It was licensed way back when.. Maybe not that long ago, mid to late 2000s?
But I guess it didn't do well (having seen official scans and read the official English translation I'm not surprised) since the company closed and the license status is unknown.
The author seems pretty cool though. Since it failed before when he noticed there was a fan translation of it he went and said it was fine to translate up to a certain extent as long as they didn't make money off of it and what not.
But yeah, the official translation was horrible. Dx The art was really poorly done, but worse still the writin came off like really bad fan-fiction. The localization was horrible too. Dx

Hm... My biggest pet peeve is lack of consistency.
I mean, if they create their own world and the logic there clashes with ours I don't care so long as they clearly establish things.
But when they start breaking the norms and set rules of that world it starts bugging me.
That goes hand in hand with lack of research though I suppose, because if they have it set in the real world or in the past but it doesn't match that's horrible too. ._.''
I dislike when a series makes massive changes though. Do a spin-off, fine. Start a new series, fine. But don't keep it as the same series. =/
Although it was called Dragonball Z it was still being published and when put together in volumes it's considered part of Dragonball and what not. =x
It bugs me.. DB was more of a minor thing though, and it wasn't done too badly. There are series where it's really poorly pulled off and it just maes me want to rip the manga in half or something. Dx
I'd give you some examples, but I think I've purged them from my memory. ^-^;;

Maybe, I'm not sure.. Definitely back up all the data though.
It sucks when it all disappears. Dx

Well, I can agree with you that Snyder films tend to be pretty.
A lot of Bay films are just about things blowing up but some aren't as bad.

Oh yeah, I live Gaiman's work..
When I think of my favorite authors though the first that comes to mind is Alan Moore.
It's just crazy how he manages to find so many creative ways to connect things together, and it's almost always worth it to reread his work after you've finished it to look for more things hidden that you missed the first time around.

Like when he does comics that have had a long history he finds a way to connect it to the past..
At least he did for Miracleman/Marvelman, Swamp Thing, and Supreme. xD
There's probably other things he's done that way too but I haven't found the time to look into the things he's done for pre-existing works. >.<;

Speaking of Gaiman though, I'm looking forward to that game he's a part of..
It looks quite visually appealing, and he does usually have interesting stories..
Plus, I'm a sucker for games. x]]

Argh... Yes, I dislike people who just like memorizing but can't think for themselves..
Oh well, they'll be replaced by robots who can do the same menial tasks they can learn to accomplish. >.>;;

Wikipedia game? I'm not sure I'm familiar with that. o.o;;

I've only read them honestly. >.>; Never watched the anime. x]
But I know.. I loved FMA, clearly so much time and effort went into making things right as much as possible, and everything follows a logic that is clearly established within the world.
As for doing sci-fi but including a VRMMO thing.. Well, they pretty much start doing things like AI for NPCs and what's real AI (quite poorly I might add). Some start getting into other branches and uses of it (again without good research) about uses in medical, etc..
I'm fine with all of that, but I dislike it when they start out with it as a kind of fantasy/adventure story where they're in a VRMMO and then completely change it.
Well, really I just dislike it when anything completely changes in such a drastic way..
Like when Dragonball became Dragonball Z (changing from a gag manga with minor action to an action/fighting manga).
I cannot stress enough how much it bothers me, and I often feel that because it wasn't planned from the beginning and is just what the author decided based on what's popular or on a whim or what they feel like doing they should have just ended the original series well and started something new instead.

Ah, that explains why your art is so beautiful. It sounds like you spend a lot of time on it. Dx
And well, it used to overheat a bit and shutdown, but no.. It isn't the screen, I think it just doesn't boot up anymore, there should be problems with it's processor or something. ._.''
I tried attaching a separate monitor and some other things, but it just doesn't start up properly. u.u''

Dx I tend to try to avoid Zack Snyder as much as I try to avoid Michael Bay.
Sure, everything is pretty, but except for the occasional exception their movies (whether they direct or otherwise) tends to be pretty painful to listen to.
The plot, the dialogue, the logic issues..
I tend to try to find good writers. And yeah, it was Aaron Sorkin who I was trying to remember.
The things he does tends to have 'rapid-fire dialogue' which I find quite good. Often times very quotable too.
It reminds me of classic romantic comedies where their banter goes by so fast it's easy to miss about 7 or 8 jabs in a minute. Dx
As far as pretty/interesting designs I tend to aim for Guillermo del Toro.
You can often see his influence even on things he produces, and there tends to be pretty interesting designs for creatures, places, machines, and what have you..

.... You have no idea how lucky you are. Dx
I just don't broach those topics with some people. x]] Or smile and nod and pretend to listen. >.>;;

Haha.. Yeah, I do have trouble with ambiguous endings..
Worse are series which are canceled and have a random end or that imply for more or are just horrible. Dx
And I try to avoid tvtropes as much as possible. That and Wikipedia are blackholes of time for me. T^T

I like the whole VRMMO thing, but there's only been one thing I've read that had it done in a way I liked..
The Legendary Moonlight Sculpture. x]
Half Prince and most others turns it into a sci-fi thing rather than a game/fantasy thing.. Dx
Worse SAo approaches topics the author clearly didn't do his research on, and it seems like he just applied minor intelligence based on few facts and ended up jumping to the wrong conclusion.
It's not an unexpected conclusion so it's not like the guy is an idiot and should be burned at the stake, but it was published early last year when things it mentioned (incorrectly) were accomplished and seeing results earlier than that.

Rofl.. I see. It helps that I don't have internet at home atm, so I wouldn't be playing a random MMO with people in Asia or reading random sites if I had my laptop. x]
Ironically I killed it by running a lot of software doing various things. Dx It just turns on the fan and LEDs now. Nothing else works. T^T I stripped it of what I could and use it though, which is nice.

Hm.. One Piece does follow a formula, and some of it is predictable, but I think there's enough so people can come up with theories and others can argue and cause large debates..
That also contributes to it's success. If people can start debating and talking about things and making a lot of guesses at how things will develop it'll help create 'buzz' and draw more interest.

Hm.. I'm not sure, I didn't watch the anime. After reading the manga I figured the anime would be a huge waste of time. xD
But yeah, it had a lot of problems before L's death, but after he died it seemed like the same old problems rehashed.
Yeah, that's true. It did have quite a few things that didn't make sense even in their world. Like.... Logic the manga setup wasn't being followed. >.<;
I hate when that happens. I can understand if it doesn't follow our logic and our laws of physics if it takes place elsewhere, but yeah...

I love medieval fantasy! D:
I love all sorts of fantasy. xD
Honestly I love just about every genre so long as it doesn't deal with right now, this time, this period.
There are things which are alright with modern stories too of course. x]
I mean, any story and genre can be great if done well.
I laughed when I heard a movie about Facebook was being made, but after hearing who was in charge of it I knew I had to watch it and Social Network turned out to be great with it's dialogue. x]
Which reminds me, I really need to get around to watching more things from him... Sorkin I think his name was?

Aw.. )= *Hugs* I'm lucky, I learned how to memorize things that way early because of my personal interest in psychology and socialogy, so in one of those classes I also learned about the brain, and during that time I happened across different methods of associating things for memorization.

That includes music and other audio options, smells, tastes, attaching to previous memories, etc..
But drawing conclusions from things is difficult. If anyone could do it, we'd have a rapidly developing world with eeven faster advancements in medical and technological sciences to say the least..
But there are people who can't even put together how minor temperature increases in oceans could cause massive amounts of snow and freezing rain, and say 'global warming' (really that was just poor naming, it's global climate change) isn't real because we've gotten more snow and freezing rain and other such weather in the winter instead of less..
I mean, I could reason it out using things I learned in 3rd grade and such.. Dx

I tend not to read about series online. I'm not sure why. >.<;
I love hearing peoples opinions and theories, and I love seeing the crazy ideas people have but I never got into looking for them actively. Dx

Oh, binge reading is fun.
I binge read Sword Art Online (not worth it, it contradicts itself so much and has major flaws in it's technologic ideas and such that conflict with real facts (which aren't that new) even though it was a recently published volume).
Campione! also.. Actually, I'm binge reading a lot of light novels from baka tsuki (translation group) recently..
Since I'm having trouble sleeping I end up staying up late to read instead. Dx If I had a laptop I'd do something more productive but unfortunately it's dead. =/

As for One Piece, here's my analysis of it.
It is a manga that is doing well because it has a lot of appeal for different people.
Every main character (member of the crew) has some sad past/story filled with drama and angst to draw in that crowd.
Although there's a lot of action, most of the time it doesn't get drawn out to a ridiculous amount (like 30+ chapters for a fight), although it does seem to do so at times it tends to do so by jumping between different fights all happening at the same time rather than just one fight which takes forever because people only come back to live after dying or taking hits that rip their body in a half. *coughcoughBLEACHcough*
It also is a traveling story that visits a wide range of worlds (islands) which tend to differ greatly, so it offers an opportunity to constantly create new rules, new cultures, and new norms for people to explore and experience.
So it has action, comedy, drama, and adventure which is probably the most popular genres missing out only on romance.

Hm... That sounds familiar.. Maybe Gantz? I'm not sure, I recall a few manga where people would go into the past/future and they had to go save the world or something, and there was some psychological points..
You saying that remidns me of Death Note btw. That was such a let down. It was supposed to be an intellectual battle between people, but so much of it was predictable or it wasn't predictable because they made a horrible decision which was supposedly brilliant, or there were too few facts presented to make it a logical decision and you can't possibly see how the characters reached that conclusion based on the evidence and instead ot seems like a wild guess. =/
I agree about Mirai Nikki also, it started out quite good and was rather interesting but it started to fall apart after some time. I suppose (in my opinion) the redeeming value of it was that it had interesting plot twists and was creative in it's development here and there.

Hm.. I don't really care for 30 Rock, I'm not sure. I know a lot of peopel who love it but yeah. Dx
Not a huge fan of Game of Thrones either, but it's just personal taste, I don't find any real flaws in what I've seen but it didn't

Ha. That's actually awesome, that you get a rush when doing that. x]] I can understand it, although I'm not sure I get anything similar nowadays. u.u''
And yeah, I prefer things where I can learn the fundamentals and just build and teach myself the rest of when I need to do so..
My mind works better at critical thinking and such rather than remembering things. >.<; Honestly I often forget my own birthday and other such things.. =/

Hm... I don't really like ambiguous ends, but I'm getting more and more used to them so I'll definitely check it out. =)

Yeah, that's how I am with Fairy Tail now too.. =/ I liked it every so often, but I'm just really bored with it. ._.'
One Piece is no great masterpiece, but at least I get some laughs and enjoyment out of that.
Naruto I avoid like the plague. Dx I liked the oneshot a tiny bit, but I couldn't even finish the first chapter. >.<; It just felt dirty and wrong to read it. Dx

Oh yeah, I understand.. The friendship overpowers everything bugs me a lot too, but that's typical of Shounen since it's kind of for that age of young boys, with hero worship and wanting to be good and fighting for justice and blah blah blah..
It's fun if you skim through it at about a volume every 20 minutes, but otherwise it drags on too much. Dx
I recall someone trying to do things differently where the main character had a mindset of having to be strong for himself because if he couldn't stand alone then he'd only hold his friends back, and anyone who fought for their friends as their only reason was weak..
But then he did the exact same thing and nothing acknowledged it or touched on it, it wasn't addressed in any way, it's just the mangaka was lousy and ended up making his character a hypocrite. ._.''
As for good/dark/deep manga I'd have to think about it. Although I've read a lot, I've found most to be pretty weak. ._.'
Even when reading Seinen besides slice of life most things I found to be light and didn't really make me feel anything or move me or make me think.

Oh yeah, I watch a bit of Suburgatory too but not too much.
I've been watching Modern Family for a while and Super Fun Night too.
Part of my prefers when Modern Family was a bit darker though. >.>; I like my dark humor. x]]

I'm not in school now.

Oh.. When I memorize things I don't do flash cards, those suck imo.
I tend to put it all together, look for connections and similarities so if I remember one thing I remember a chain, and also try to connect them to existing knowledge I know I won't forget.
That's the only way I can remember things.. T^T
Yeah, I know it's essentially impossible to just build and learn more in o.chem which is why I'm not good at it, and why I hate it. T^T
Just give me math. I can do math, I'm Asian. >.>;

Ooer.. That sounds quite appealing. I definitely want to find and check out Witch Hunter Robin now. ;o
Hellsing I kind of enjoyed, but I found some of it weak in terms of... Er.. Actually I don't recall, it was either dialogue or story. >.<;

You made a good choice stopping for Bleach. Dx
I'm stuck with it because I have a personality where I am determined to finish things once I start if I get in far enough. =/
The manga is finally ending and it's on it's final arc apparently, but it'd dragging out.. ._.'' It's like it's bleeding to death from a pin p***k. Dx
Honestly it's quite hard to get into, the plot holes it in are horrible (and I read it while turning off my brain mind you, and I still notice them), and there are inconsistancies everywhere.
The story really isn't going anywhere most of the time, and the art work is quite bad.
I recall a short lived meme which I found to be quite accurate, where certain panels seem like the guy just spilled ink on the page by accident, and decided to turn it into a special move to cover it up. Dx

I just read everything. I'm good with slice of life as long as there's comedy.
Just drama tends to weigh me down though. =x
And I had trouble finishing Black Lagoon also, I'm not sure why..
I have it on hold atm and decided to just read through a lot of random things that vaguely fit into my criteria and hoping I find something I really enjoy. Dx
What type of manga/anime do you tend to go for..?
Seems like a lot of it has quite a bit of action..
Based on just that though there's essentially limitless suggestions. ._.''

Alright.. =)
And what level of schooling are you at? If you don't mind my asking..?

If you practice a lot then you learn it through repetition. It'd be like muscle memory. You still memorize it, it's just through a method to better understand and grasp it rather than just trying to remember everything.
It's like when you were a kid and got a list of vocabulary words.. You had to write it out a few ways, define it, write a sentence using it, etc..
Although I suppose if you learn the fundamentals and build upon them without remembering/knowing more to come to the correct conclusion that's different..

Yeah, Cowboy Bebop was originally an anime, which is why that's one of the things which I want to watch the anime for and not read the manga.
I believe there is a magna adaptation, or at least a spinoff of some kind.
I don't think I've seen Witch Hunter Robin either..
Hm... Now that I can get television series from my library maybe I'll try getting these. >.>;

Okay, I hope you enjoy it. Dx
I'm not sure if you will though, as based on what you've mentioned I haven't a real firm grasp of what you like.
Being horrible at classifying and deciding what genre things fall into doesn't help either. =x
All I can say is it's a school life comedy that isn't typical, but has parallels with typical ones.
There is also some serious moments with a bit of drama here and there.
Oh, and a hint of romance. x]]

Also, would you mind if I added you? As a friend.. On here I mean..? o.o;
