Yes, well. Denim is definitely out of the question, tweed is far more appropriate. Or, have you ever seen/read Brideshead Revisited? That is what I want for life... sigh.... or maybe Cambridge Spies (though it is Cambridge and not Oxford).

I know we can't speak like Stephen Fry yet... but you gotta have hope. I want to go to Oxford and become a complete snob with a funny accent and impeccable english, who doesn't?

I know my english can be abolutely appaling, especially if I've been doing stuff in german. My english comes out all germanish, it's weird.

But "you and me" can be right in the right context. If it follows a preposition and is an object/indirect object then it should be "you and me". It is only "you and I" in the subject case.... yep I'm a bit of a grammar nut, it comes from learning german for 6 years.

I saw the grammar lesson.... and I'm not sure I agree with Fry on the matter. none = not one

QI? I don't think I've heard of it, but it sounds fun. I love stephen fry, so it must be good.... though he'll always be Melchett to me.

Did you actually watch the Gruen Transfer on wednesday? I thought it was an interesting idea, and quite good except some of the cuts from shot to hot were a bit dodge... but all in all pretty good. Ohh.. another reason for excitement (as far as I'm concerned) is the series of 4 Jane Austens on sunday nights. Yay! Unfortunately though I have an essay due tuesday (transcribing stuff from a manuscript and writing about it) so.... Oh I wish this semester was over already.

Hmm... watery english blood. I've never been to england, but I'll wager I'm as much of an anglophile as your class. I'm trying to work out how to claim english citizenship at the moment... it's so complicated. And as for the dr who? I'll wait until it come to the ABC as I always do. Oh are you planning on watching the new Wil Anderson show, wednesday nights on the ABC? I think it starts this week... I hope it starts to fill the hole that Glass House left...

I am doing Liberal Studies.. amazing guess, considering that most of the time when people go "what're you doing at uni?" and I reply, they go "Huh?" I'm impressed. And yeah I can't remember 2006 anymore... it's a bit worrying. My memory is fading! Bah! Anywho, my mum's english, so I was brought up on a lot of english comedy and whatnot... in fact for a long time (untill I was 6 or 7) I though ABC was the only tv channel. Hmm... I wonder whether its worthwhile torrenting the new dr who....

Mostly the workloads all good and well, I've just had a couple of essays for my arts subjects recently and, well, essays = stress + work. And I have a couple of assesments coming up.... I'm doing Chem, English, German and Medieval Studies (since you ask...), much fun... what're you doing for your HSC? (aside from ext. English and obviously English Adv.) *feeling nostalgia for highschool days* good times... and I kept watching all the TV that I wanted right through (I even destroyed one of my favourite period dramas by using it as a Journeys text: the lesson of that is, if you really like it, don't use it) happy days.... what was awesome (esp. british) tv in 2006? Aside from Dr Who series 2, and the wonderful david tennant...
