"I was wondering if you might consider being one of his guardians? You could live in the Baxter Building, and everything would be paid for you, as well as a salary. I just... I can't be around as much as I need to be, and I'd like to know that my baby is in good hands while I'm off on business."

He begins to look over the menu as well. "I do think I even know how to say have these names..." He looks it over. "Seriously.. what is Pasta Ccu Ri Sarde?" he looked worried. "Is that even legal?" He looked at her over his menu to see what she was doing. He was trying to make a good impression. He wanted to be the good guy again. Her words comforted him. They ran in his head. He never knew such kindness from another.
