"I'll be fine Really chere." he said tryign to not make it sound like he was offened. To be honest he wasn't used to it. Rogue rarely doubled check that often on him so this was a new experience for him. "sounds great chere." he said still irked about the situation but hid it very very well. Wondered if she was going to make that a habbit. he hoped not.

"geeze Clarice." he said using her name as he grumbled a bit anoyed still. "Chu act like I never been in life threatenin' situations before. Gambit got dis in da bag chere." He said as he tried to sip up now, suddenly a tad bit uncomfterble in the lap.

"Aww come of fit chere." he protested a bit as she started getting worried. "gambit been through more den dis before." he said exasperated at her coddling, but he let her, it was still her lap after all. However he didn't like it when she started ripping her dress apart. that thing looked expensive. "Well Maybe it was a mutant-eatin' one den?" he said a slight bit annoyed as he looked at her.

"Don' rip that up. I'll be fine chere, Honest!"

It wasn't going good. He had been hit too much with his own attack and his own attack seemed to do nothing other then just tempararily stun the beast and now it was snarling and growling at them. He had to move aside for her as he watched in rather short amazement on the portal she created. Kept forgeting she could do it without touching the thing as the beast dissapeared. This gave him time to go and pull himself up on the muddy shore, always prefered beaches to rivers.

AS he lay there he looked at her as she came out as she looked at him. "Hmm.. Its not bad at all." he said as he looked at her wincing, finding it hard to breathe. As his shirt and clothes were off the burns and bruises and cuts and open wounds were clearly visable no matter how he tried to hide them.

She obviosuly didn't realise there was a drop off right there behind him, and he watched as she suddenly was up over her head in water. He grabbed her and pulled her back as the Crocodile rather quickly was comming closer. He grwoled as he scooped up some mud. it wasn't any cards but it would have to do. The mud glowed as bits of it fell to the side of the water, that was going to hurt in a few seconds. He lobbed the mud as he pushed blink under the water as the Mud exploded on the crocodiles face, and then the bits of mud that fell tot he side exploded on him and he cried out in pain.

It was more then nice, his hand crept up her back and behind her head as he begian to kiss her back just as much, starting to make out with her, The way his fingers moved through her wet hair and helped deepen the kiss was pricess as he enjoyed the warmth of her even in the cool water. He would never admit it, just yet at least, but he'd rather be at her side then any other place int he world.

He chuckled softly as he lets her finnish before he gives that gumpy face a nice soft deep kiss, holding her close as he does so. He was very much enjoying this. This sens of being out in the middle of nowhere, could do whatever they want. Glad he coudl do this all with her.

"Hmm, be worth it, no?"He teased her agian before starting another round of kisses, just glad they had drifted close enough tot he edge he could stand in the mud and hold them there with no effort or treaded water.

Gambit grinned as he croutched on the mud under the dangling legs above him. Then with all his strength he launched himself upwards, using his own power to boost his muscles a bit as he flew towards her underwater, then reached out and grabbed her in his arms, tangled them around her legs and pulled her down under the water. THne he wrapped his arm around her wasit and another aroun dher back as they bot floated tot he top. He won , he felt he desrved a price as he pulled her chest to chest and grinned at her. "Got'cha." cooed softly.

He swam like a predator trying to catch its prey, zeroing in on her with his stronger build as he got closer and closer. Just when he was within range, he pounced. He pratcily lept out of the water to try and tackle her and claim his prize and reward, but then she was suddenly gone and there was a rather big splash as he netted nothing, Then behind him came the pleasent sound of giggles and the feel of splashing. Cleaver girl.

He chuckled as he then sank to the bottom of the pool of water. There was more then one way to catch a blink. Down tot he muddy dark bottom where it would be hard to see where he went.

He grinned as he had been about to pull her legs under the water for a bit but now he rose to the surface and grinned as he begian to swim rather swiftly after her, more then ready to chase her down, especialy if he started to ponder what sort of reward she may be willing to give him for doing so. He growled in good fun as he gave chase.

He chuckled, he should of known there would always be an excuse for no clothes. He just grinned as he slipped out of the clothes as he watched her. He liked the way her long hair slicked back, allowed him to see her face better which was always a plus. He quickly dived down deep into the water and held his breath as he moved under her under the ripples.

He had to close his eyes. He didn't get sick like some of the other x-men, but it never hurt to be too prepared in case right? He held them close for just a second until he opened his eyes. He looked around and saw the strange life forms and it took him a while before remembering the place they were at. That was fine enough, they could have this little slice of paradise away from everyone else. He followed her grabbing her hand just in case something popped out of the jungle at them, wanted to be sure he could pull her out of harms way. never hurt to be too careful.

He then saw the waterfall and the pool under it as she asked to go swimming. He grinned at her as he couldn't help a look over as he chuckled. "I thought chu jus' put on dem clothes chere? OR do I jus' 'ave that kind of effect on ya?"

That was something amusing. He kind of liked that. he paused for a moment as he tried to think, very fine with her arms around him and his own around hers as he thought.

"I'll leave up to yer judgement to what ya think would be fun." he grinend.

He smiled as he wanted to wrap his arms around her and hold her for a moment, But he just smiled as he went over to get one of his random shirts so he had something to wear when they went. "Anythin' of intrest to you on this world you ain' seen or 'ave in any other?" He asked not sure what there was to do. He lived here after all, that took some of the adventure out of it.

He admired her as she got up and streached, like really REALLY admired her. But the within a second she was gone and so he sighed as he streached himself as he got up and slowly started to get ready.

By the time she returned he looked over at her and let out a whistle. He was half dressed, his chest exposed as he went over to go admire her some more.

"hmmm lookin' good mon chere."
