hey.
the name is olivia, the state is north carolina, the love is life, and the dreams are reality.
and it's amazing how easily we can forget that.
i want you to be happy that you're living, be happy that you can wake up to smell life within your room. and be happy to know that you can love and people can love you.
and i know that sometimes we all want to give up. it's not rare honey, everyone gets down sometimes. but the fact that we need pick ourselves up is the hardest, not falling in the first place.
so when you fall, how do you get up? do you get a friend to pull you by the hand, or do you stand up by yourself? maybe sometimes, we don't even get up at all. or maybe we sit and weep, holding onto the weakness of our knees that made us fall. what happens?
i don't know, i'm trying to figure it out. i can pick up my friends, sure, but i don't think i can always pick myself up.
but what do you do to not fall in the first place? maybe if you hold tight enough, onto the memories where the photographs used to be. maybe if you just hold onto those tight enough, you won't fall, or maybe they're just battered and torn pictures of something that used to be. maybe, if only... if only you just grasp it tight enough...
but darling, you'll always fall.
it's something that will always happen. you can't help it, you can only pick yourself up and keep moving, and by time maybe the cuts will heal. maybe they'll leave scars, but they always heal, unless you keep picking at them.
but take the chances. sprint till you get there, even if it means you trip and fall a few times. because if you don't run your heart out,
you may never get there.
