Fate
Carmen got up in the morning and got ready for school.
Another meaningless day", she thought,"just another average,
meaningless day....". She grabbed her books and headed down
the street to the bus stop. She was a junior in college
and was studying to be a lawyer. At the age of 17, she lost
both of her parents in a car crash and has since then
thought of her herself as cursed.
As she got on the bus she thought back to that day,
how a week after her high school graduation she saw the
disemboweled bodies of her parents.
Her father was ripped in half by being in between the two
cars and her mother was pierced dead through the heart.
They both died instantly...
She headed off the bus and flashing her bus card on the way.
She had to forget them,she had to forget about her parent's deaths.
Or she'll go insane. Although she tried, she couldn't, however.
Almost every night she had a night terror or some voice in the dark whisper
her name. She felt as if Death followed her everywhere just waiting for the right
moment for her horrible demise.She arrived at the entrance to the college and
took a deep breath. Time to go to work," she thought. She always referred to
college as work because she was in as many committees as classes. She tried to
keep busy to avoid going back to her one bedroom apartment where another
terrifying night will be waiting for her. Carmen's best friend Jaime walked up
from behind and grabbed jacket making her jolt in fear.
"Calm down Carmen, I was just kidding girl!!!" Carmen almost slapped her.
Carmen and Jaime had been friends since kindergarten and when accepted
into the same college, they both jumped at the opportunity. They started
to talk as they walked through the halls of the college. About their
crushes and their worst professors. For a minute, the problems that
plagued her life were forgotten. She thought ahead. She was one of
the top students of her class and was going to be a good lawyer one
day. She had good friends and met a guy that she could start a life with.
As they turned the corner, she started to say how glad she was to have
Jaime there with her- BOOM!!!!!!........
A student brought a shotgun to school and went on a rampage. Twelve
students died that day before the gunman inevitably shot himself, Carmen
being one of them. As she was turning the corner she was shot in the
face with a shot gun blast, having startled the gunman. Her friend Jaime
was shot in the arm, but survived. It was all over the news and the
tabloids. However, Carmen's inevitable death had finally accord.
Carmen got up in the morning and got ready for school. Another
meaningless day", she thought," just another average,
meaningless day....".

Have you played the game Bioshock on the Xbox 360? Omg, I have a heart attack everytime I play it. It scares the crap out me! These nasty looking freaks come out with like masks on and start shooting at you and sometimes you find this Big Daddy and a Little Sister or something. The Big Daddys are HUGE. If you stand in their way, they will push you. It is hilarious.
But I kind of don't like playing video games because I get bored with them after 5 minutes D< It's a good game though, you should play it if you haven't already :3
