Ahh, I ended up staying home from school today, because I'm feeling weird and queasy... I wonder if I ate something funny, or if it's the stomach flu. 8D; Ughh, I hope it's not the stomach flu, because my final exams start on Wednesday! D8



It never snows in this part of the country... We don't really have "seasons" down here, even though the weather's been whacky all year. It's already getting hot here. =3=;

The closest university I applied to is still about 40 miles away... A killer commute, not to mention expensive! And the furthest is about 400 miles away. Either way, I think I'll be living in the dorms. XD I should really be in bed now~ It's almost 1:30 am, but I can't sleep... -w-;

Damn those child labor laws! Some places don't require a work permit, which is the confusing part... Better to just wait. ._.



The hard part will be getting a part-time job while I'm away at college. Really looking forward to that...

There are a couple places where I can be hired at 17, but some of them require work permits, and mehhh, there's no point in me getting one when I'm going to be 18 in a couple weeks. XD I'll probably have to get a crappy part-time job that pays minimum wage, but it's better than nothing.

Yeah, I need to get a job, too... But I decided to hold off on applying for anything until after my birthday so I don't have to get work permit, it'll just be less hassle... The last time I got hired, they called back five minutes later all surprised that I wasn't 18 yet so it turned out they couldn't actually hire me... ._. Laaaaame. DX

Ah, here, you can get tickets at any time so long as they're not sold out (just that on the day of the concert, the box office doesn't open until one hour before the start time). But it surprises me that there are always people at concerts who don't have their tickets yet... XD;;



He's a solo artist~ http://www.ys1126.com/ I'm not 100% positive that he's retiring (his solo career, that is) after that live, but he said it was a "finale," soo... Anyway, I love him! He produces some other really cool indie bands that I like, namely THE KIDDIE and HERO.

Oh Meevers I got to see him in May, but I missed him by a day in England! D:



But apart from An Cafe, I'm not sure if I can afford to go to any more lives this year (just the ones in Southern California, since I've already bought my tickets)... Because if it's at all possible--and I think it is, so I'm saving up from now on--I'm going to travel to Japan if only for about five days, because my favorite artist is performing a 'last live' of sorts... and I vaguely remember promising in fanmail that I'd see him at least once! So... that's my plan for the year. XD
