Hey catic, looks like its been a while since your or anyone from LM's logged on here. Idk how its going over there and I'm sorry for not talking much. I am trying to improve that portion of myself though. I'm trying to set-up some RPs on my own, but I'm in need of some maps. Unfortunately I can't recall who it was that did those great RP maps back at LM. I've got a few projects and I'm willing to pay the artist here on gaia. The amount's negotiable. Just thought I'd let you know. I hope you're able to get on soon and read this message, you were the most recently active lol. I hope you and the rest of LM's doing ok btw. I've got no clue what's happened there since last we talked.

Thanks, oh btw I've helped set-up an RP. I'm kinda busy helping an applicant set-up his character. Its a individual character type RP with a modern-fantasy setting which has heavy D&D influences. I'm also in a sorta dead nation-running type RP that's kinda dead atm, but I developed what seems to be a pretty good tax-income formula for. Idk if you'd be interested in either one, but if you'd like a link to either one I'd be happy to provide you to whichever RP your interested in. smile

well, 3rd person to ask me to re-join, but the answers still no. Nothing ever changes, its like the whole thing is what the health-care debate is like. Stall until the bill dies. Put it off long enough so that reforms aren't viewed as necessary. Plus I can't count on don's commitments to LM since he always seems to take track&field which eats up a huge amount of his time.

Idk, haven't been that active online lately and Ordimus hasn't been much of a motivator. College classes have just started, I've been seeing a shrink and doing behavior modification so I'm actually a bit more sane than I was lol. Still, stress does pile up from those two sources and at home due to a spoiled little brother that's an idiot and is trying to force me to become a republican. I'm just glad I've got D&D books as an escape as well as some of the internet. Still haven't managed to play a game of D&D yet, but I'm getting closer to getting a forum version, modified for a guild, set-up. It's been difficult lately due to school, some PC problems, and just how much information there is that needs to be posted.....

So, anything you'd like to talk about? Its been a while since I've last heard from you.

Ok, well I quit the LM forum, quit the space RP, tried to reform it/save it a few times but no-one liked the idea that would help limit godmodding which idk if I can do now. Don's nation ceased to exist and got re-formed, the region is now password protected, and I think we're starting to lose more nations just about every day to inactivity. Like I said, idk what's going on in LM forums, but those are among the events that've happened around the time I left and outside since I've left.

Well, I did my 1st mission in the other RP, I started at 11pm, and finished after 4am. I'm going to try to get back onto LM, but I've still got stuff to do to in relation to the mission &amp; I've got classes later today.

As to the compromise thing on abilities, I can't really do that. I'm going to need every ability and stuff possible. Remember, I'm not playing offense, I'm playing defense. I did not attack first in any of the battles, I did not pursue Osa after the first attack, I tried to keep his people alive. I returned amir's probe rather than fight over it(even though I had a lot more fleets, ms, etc. in my home-system). I'm constantly stating how powerful the weapons &amp; stuff is, because I don't want to use them. If I did, I'd be mass-producing wing-zeros and GP02s for example.

On the other hand, you've got RPers like easton with lightning cannons with a range from pluto to earth capable of taking out space colonies in a single hit, hitting several targets at once, being large enough to contain hundreds of robotic fighters, bomers, and drones, with shielding, capable of taking several hits by Wing Zero's buster Rifle(again, seems a bit like something that shouldn't happen), and now has nano-machines capable of forming an nearly impenetrable wall of sorts in space and can regenerate on the field and reduce the construction time of ships from months to days....

That's just for the tech stuff, you've got some RPers such as Osa &amp; Easton that RP little to no government oversight, contradict themselves for policies, hungry for war, and can somehow both gather fleets of ridiculously large numbers of huge ships and even more fighters, bombers, drones, etc. To attack a defender of only 250 ships, approx 5,000-7,500 'fighters', and of maybe 200-300 small ships(best thing I can call my mobile armors in comparison), with only 2 large and 2 small defense installations? Seriously, I need all the power I can get because of the stuff they've been using and how they've been RPing. Heck, ordimus godmodded an event to take place in my own system involving his people. Fortunately, the GP02 was able to handle most of it.

Despite, all of their military crap and actions which seem like a mix between impossible, extremely improbable, and godmodding. The only tech that's been banned is the one thing that isn't military and I created, which had sci-fi precedent. Other RPers ignored the warp only rule when it was active and then dealt with it by placing a poll, even though the fact is that they had still broken it. I don't plan to be an aggressive player, my empire is in name only and is more like the star-fleet federation, but without that prime-directive to avoid cultural contamination(let's face it, there have been movies where aliens interacted peacefully with earth.). However because they've been acting agressively, have such large ships, large numbers, and such powerful weapons, I can't exactly compromise any of my strength. Even if they didn't have what they have now, I still wouldn't compromise strength because of their actions of attacking first, unprovoked, and things of that nature. I carry two swords to be scary, but mostly to better defend myself from the enemy's sword. Their tech is custom, idk much if anything about it and I can't R&amp;D, they're more familiar with their weapon, strategy, etc. I need something strong enough to both defend myself and attack, or use both aspects of to defend.

Sorry about this little rant, but I can't compromise because of their actions &amp; stuff, I can't get anything done because it feels like one of those Dog Whisper episodes where there's no pack leader, and I'm having to deal with all sorts of rule breaking and people placing restrictions on me(despite me trying to be peaceful, diplomatic, use sci-fi precedent, etc.). Its ok catic, you weren't the one that banned me. The current policies on the RP and it seeming like it needs the Dog Whisperer did contribute to the overall frustrations. I'll try to log-on tomorrow. I just hope that there's some changes by then. Not necessarily huge changes, but I mean, I had to spend so long trying to explain what gundanium was and how it was allowed for the national, there just feels like there's no real chain of command and no organized way to discuss things in a quick and well manner. I'll admit I am long-winded, and my references aren't always understood, but I do try my best to convey thought. But between: clips, explanations, posts, links, and all that other stuff so little is understood. I mean, you heard Easton, when I said Gundanium = Lunar Titanium Alloy, he was still hard-lining me for the formula. It just feels like whatever information I try to give in relation to my stuff on the RP is intentionally ignored, and whenever I think something shouldn't exist due to little to no sci-fi precedent along with extreme advantages, the complaints just get drowned out partially due to a lack of a way to discuss things in a clear & organized manner that don't degrade into a show of stupidity and yelling. I'll admit it might be more interesting, but it does slow things down if not make them impossible. Anyway, sorry for the rant, still a little upset...

Evolving items are a special kind of item here that changes over time. One week, if you wear it, it would give you some options, when it updates/evolves, it gives you completely different options for wearing it. They're usually quite expensive. Right now, I don't know that much about them, and would like to know what I can about how to use or not-use them, and stuff like that before moving into monthly collectibles as the evolving items tend to fetch a much higher price than the monthly collectibles.
