They didn't shoot themselves in the foot by creating new games, they killed themselves by not keeping the committment of maintaining and creating new content for their good games. Let's face it , HoC and zOMG! are good games, Gaia has just simply abandoned zOMG! in pursuit of other, shall we say, less appealing, and off-site options. And HoC just wasn't maintained the way it needed to be. It's basically a Trading Card game, and they weren't prepared for the amount of work that a TCG needs in order to stay fresh and appetizing to everyone. Then after that stuff, let's take into account the fact that they felt they had to balance them for gold output, just like they did with BG, which was a mistake too, it was the only thing keeping people playing after they all-but announced they'd be cutting off support for zOMG!, and HoC was already limited when it was created.

I was the same way, and you're right. It won't be developed any further. BB will never get a story, Aekea and Durem won't ever get released, and we won't get any new rings or anythign else anymore. They haven't even done their Halloween event the last year... What's more, I'm actually getting kinda pissed/bored of HoC since the AI cheats you out of every win with any means they can possibly do. Usually by critting exorbitant amounts of times, and making you graze every attack... So I'm thinking of not playing that anymore either.

I don't know, Gaia in general has just gotten boring now that nothing GOOD is really being made for us to play with anymore...

But Sweetheart is the only ring I'm missing, and I still want it for completion's sake, and cause it's a 12.0... razz I guess I'm kinda hoping that I'll somehow find a crew of my friends who're all 12.0 and would take me through DMS, but I doubt that will happen, and I can't be bothered to deal with it anymore really... I think I will just let her know to sell the ring now that I think about it... -_-;

...They actually just gave me all the gold back. Even the extra 20k that got lost from the MP fee... That was totally awesome of them. AND I STILL OPENED AN AIRSHARK ON TOP OF IT! Now if I could only open like 6 more so I could buy my friends' Sweetheart Ring! I NEED 2mil!!!
