I did a ton of smeb stuff so I must have killed him 20+ times. I'm just glad I beat him before the challenge level nerf let you do it on "Easy" mode. God yeah it was, most of the time spent was getting a crew, then getting the ring arrangement right. Everything else was pretty quick, especially for smeb, though people still left around the switches if you couldn't coordinate it right. Still, if you ever got a group together quickly enough, you could do at least two runs because you all knew what you were doing. Oh I screwed up my first time with SS and DMS! That's half the point htouhg! Oh boy, my first time in SS I was solo. I did most of the game that way after all so I thought I could handle it. I WAS WRONG!!! Be honest though, your first few times in there, the animated weren't killing you, the Barnacle Fluff specifically were. Those nasty little demons...

Yeah, zOMG! was pretty tough, all the bosses save 2 earned their spots as bosses. even in Village Greens. Not to mention the difficulty spike from Zen Gardens to dealing with your first Outlaw wolf in Bass'ken Lake. Oh goodness, I never ventured into the beta, though in retrospect I wish I had. OMG the train ride! "Here's a ring that shoots gamma radiation at things, blow up this trash can. Okay great! Good luck, you'll never see me again!" That NPC was the best, I was TOTALLY hoping for a much better plot implication with them than just the introduction. It would haveen so rewarding! The trek through the sewers after that though was kind of bland. I feel like the Barton quests were a better way of introducing you to the controls if they'd just used them for that, and finding Rufus his pants was the BEST!

Yeah, the Sakura Fluffs were terrifying for a while, but by the time you were ready to fight Kat's Kokeshi they weren't so bad, then it was the Ghost Lanterns "Kill me quick or you're freaking TOAST!" I still think the flying gift boxes and outlaw wolves did it better, the gift boxes were the challenge you had to go out of your way for, but they just introduce you to this one adorable little Outlaw in the second area of Bass'ken, it's green to you so you know it's pretty strong, but when it hits you, YOU LOSE HALF YOUR DAMN HEALTH AND FREAK THE HELL OUT!!!

Yeah, I've never spent GC on LK, and I kinda stopped playng it all together after the Fafnir event, I just didn't care enough to begin with. It wasted too much time for too little progress. zOMG! was engaging as hell, and while you can equip your Kin we had recipes in zOMG@ for a lot of the iconic animated. God all the fluffs...

Refresher courses would be easy for high level players, we can just lower our CLs to go back through areas and do the boss runs and repeatable quests to knock the rust off. Course I say that still remembering most of the keyboard controls, I just don't remember kneel... If he gives us new stuff, I'll give him a present! Not sure what, maybe a bucket of water for that fire? xD
It was certainly more profitable than LK is... I'd spend some gold on Amps and such again, which does translate somewhat to profit for them. I just don't have the money to spend on Gaia anymore, even though I'd love to if zOMG came back.
If we were, it was at the tail end. I know I was friends with Azuri before I started talking to you, and that was around '12? Something like that... But yeah, we'll totally make new memories! Labtech X won't know what hit him!

I know! It'll be tons of fun, and I don't think we ever did, or if we did it was for like 2 hours or something small like that...
Like I said, I'd be surprised if they barred or deleted the items myself. Having people like us who kept their old stuff unbalances nothing in my opinion, we'd just be able to get back to the higher level areas immediately. I think though if I were to ask for anything when they reopen it, it's to patch in Aekia or Durem as well. Some new content for this trouble wouldn't be a ton to ask, would it?
