Oh good grief, what AREN'T my favorite movies? lol I watch way to many. I usually like what I see, except for those recent plotless action movies filmed entirely in front of a green screen...

Oh I'm a frequent flyer in the world of subtitles; Very fond of French and Japanese productions. =] The one thing that might confuse me is the image in the commercials of the guy putting his 'eyes' on his hands up to his face. Is that really how he sees? If so, it would be really boring/nauseating to let his hands swing at his sides while walking...

Is it similar to Labyrinth in plot or characters or anything? Because, and maybe it's just the fact that it is a kids movie, I can't really see any grotesque scenes fitting their way into something Labyrinth-related... unless you just make the Forest really creepy, or make the Bog of Eternal Stench even cruder, lol.

Although Bowie is indeed brilliant in the movie, I cannot deny my love of either Christian Bale or Hugh Jackman because of it. I have to love them all equally. Along with Michael Caine of course. My word, I hadn't realized how many fantastic people there are in that movie, lol.
Pans Labyrinth gets grotesque? I had thought it was more of a child's story as well... I was clearly misinformed... =]

Well I've seen him in other things that aren't musicals, but I suppose it was rather obvious. But hey, I didn't even know it was a kids movie until I saw all the Jim Henson stuff. I knew squat, I didn't even know he was in it till it said his name! lol
I have, admittedly, not seen Pans Labyrinth. I guess I've never really had the opportunity placed before me, and never knew if it was good enough to go get it for myself. Are you a fan?

Seriously. I mean, it was kind of a shaky beginning, in the sens that it could be great or could go the other way, then Bowie shows up, and there tis. GREAT movie. Best of all: the first time I saw it, I knew nothing about it. Not even that twas a musical, so the second 'Magic Dance' started, I was in absolute heaven!

I see that there have been comments regarding the caterpillar, famed for 'making the movie' and saying 'ello. If I can assume that the caterpillar in question is from Labyrinth, I LOVE YOU! He completely made the movie! Him and 'the missis', whom I believe doesn't really exist... sorry, it's an odd theory I've developed... anyways... *hides in a shame corner after embarrassing outburst*
