Kit, try not to focus on it. It'll make you more upset. Just stay in you room, close the door if you can and try not to think about it. Try to focus your attention on something else.

Kit... I can understand that you don't want it to happen. None of us do. Nor do any of us wish that onto someone. But, think about it like this. When your parents get over this hurdle their relationship will get better.

Put some music on then. It's best you try not to hear what they are saying and not to get involved. As much as you may want to. Try to listen to your ipod or music player. Plug in some headphones and or turn on the tv or something.

Hmm. Well in this case I'd try to calm down. Being angry isn't going to help you in any circumstance. Just try to think about your dad's perspective as well as your mother. Sometimes people are jerks and don't mean to say what they say when they are angry.
