internet explorer has recently been exploited to a major hacking.
hackers have been using this to plant viruses on unsuspecting sites.
my sister went on one of these sites on accident, on ie.
i wasn't paying attention, and logged onto my gaia anyways.
and so, the following day, everything was gone.
