Oh I totally agree with you! How could he just go back to see his childhood friend die like that!! That was so upsetting, that would have killed me. I adored Mr. Crepsley and when he was killed I about stopped reading the book for good. Until I felt there was a silver of hope that he could have been saved, I almost jumped for joy! That was such a horrible turn and everything...but its okay though...I suppose. Although, book twelve was almost a complete disappointment to me. Darren got to go in the past and change everything so he could grow up with Steve still as his friend. It kind of made me felt that the books we read leading up to it weren't worth anything, ya know? I mean it was a great series and I would read it again...but that was one downfall about book twelve!

dont worry,

im pretty sure sfc. dumas is aware about how your health is and would either excuse/go easy on you.

hell, he went easy on sabolchy and normandin the other day, and they dont even have any excuses like you do.

(or, at least any health conditions they have dont apply since i dont know about them haha XD;; im evil~ )

Aw, I do hope that you get your glasses fixed and soon! That way you may be able to finish the series! It is quite captivating!

I do agree, book ten was quite interesting as they trailed into the "future"! Expect, I do adore book eleven! I loved how Darren and us got to see what happened to his old childhood friends. Of course, I was sadden to see the events that did happen to them later on. I liked this book solely because we got a look on how Darren's family and friends grew and evolved from when he "died". It was quite a cliff-hanger at the end and that only made me want to get the next book even more.

Wow! Finallly!

I know of only ONE person at my school who has read Cirque Du Freak and we never talk! I loved that series and the last book really shocked me!

I am reading his Demonata series as well but they sometimes confuse me. I am not sure if you feel the same way but I adored Shan's style of writing in Cirque Du Freak rather than in this new series he is writing. Besides that, I am hooked on this other series as well! ^^
