thanks for the sig compliment...oh, about the images...well, most of my images on my profile are from my photobucket account...i recently discovered that you can organize your images...so i've reorganized some of my images...i know that i need to redo the links so that the images will show once again...it's just that i've been busy as of lately

my hubby and i attended the 2nd annual story-telling festival over in athens, al this past weekend...zeus is doing good...surprisingly, toward the end of last month, some sweet soul or souls decided to donate a good bit of money to zeus' accident bill...my hubby and i are so proud and thankful User Image

as for me, i've been having some female problems and contemplating about my depression...i'm going to change who i see about my depression * crossing fingers that this will be beneficial *

i think that i'm going to continue being a member of the great gambinos guild, but no longer participate in the games forum since it tends to be just you and me playing some of the games (and i don't quite make it over there as much as i use to)...i've joined the over 30 and gaian guild...this guild seems real nice, organized, and rather busy...i believe that i will concentrate my energies on this guild for now

no, i haven't looked into an outdoor playpen for zeus, but it's a good idea...thanks for suggesting it User Image

...right now, i'm letting zeus out some during the day-time...so far (other than that 1st time since his accident), zeus has been doing good being outside...however, he does throw temper-tantrums @ night wanting to go back outside...zeus seems to be staying pretty close to home while he's outside

really love the colors the gaia staff made the gambino cheerleader outfit User Image

...i just wish our town's pom-poms had the 2 colors speckled throughout instead of in lines b/c, @ to me, it kind of clashes with the striped-uniform

since it's been a month and zeus had been worrying me a lot (plus, he's been depressed), i decided to let him out for awhile earlier today...well, everything was going good until a little dog came up and ran zeus up a tree...thankfully, zeus managed to get himself down (b/c i can't climb trees and can't stand heights)...zeus hurt one of his back toes/claws User Image

other than that, zeus is doing quite well

zeus has started wanting to play...he looks so sad everyday looking out the dinning room window (he's missing being able to go outside)...my hubby and i are planning on getting zeus a harness leash so we can take zeus outside some (but we won't do it until probably late august so that zeus can heal a good bit more)

i noticed the other week that the owner/creator of knuffels has redone the queen and is offering her for free (i just thought i would mention it since you have a knuffel)

zeus' fur is started to grow back in a good bit around his face...he's depth perception and sight have improved some since he has came home...zeus' sinuses are flared up some now...his personality has changed some since the accident...he's talking more...hope you don't mind me giving you a little update on my baby kitty...hope all is well with you...take care User Image

my bad for not getting with you sooner...i've been busy with zeus and all...zeus is doing pretty good...he has a check-up appt. for tuesday...all of his boo-boos seem to be healing up pretty well...zeus gives me an occasional temper-tantrum about wanting to go outside (before the accident he was an indoor-outdoor cat)...i've noticed that his sense of smell isn't quite like it use to be and that his vision is impaired some...zeus has a few spots on him where the vets shaved his fur for a drip and/or cather and for his surgeries...he tends to get food somewhat clumped up in his bad jaw side, which he doesn't like too much...for some reason, zeus tends to stick his tongue out some while sleeping (my hubby and i think it's cute as hell though)

yeah, i think zeus is a real trooper as well because the vet said that he was probably injured last saturday sometime and he, despite being injured, somehow found the courage and strength to make it back to the house on his own power...i sure do hope and pray that zeus will be at my side for many years to come User Image

...and you're right, i thought i was never going to see him again and that he was sadly lying dead and alone somewhere User Image

...zeus is having his damaged eye removed sometime 2-day and i think they will work on his mouth/jaw as well...he'll get some x-rays taken to see what else might be damaged...take care User Image
