Lyme works in weird ways I have learned.

I had only done one semester, but had gotten so sick during that, I had spent half in bed.

I quit college, came home and we found a doctor who specializes in treating Lyme disease because we KNEW that's what was making me so sick. I tested "negative" for it at first, but ironically, after treatment, I started testing positive for all the markers.

Damn... I know what it's like not having doctors believe you about Lyme. When I was at college, I asked the campus doc about it and she basically told me to stop being crazy and suck it up. I got the "it's all in your head" speech. I've only had it for three years and I'm so worn down... I don't think I could have made it through last year if it wasn't for my parents driving me to and from my appointments.

And antibiotics are tricky for me. My stomach is so weak I can barely tolerate anything I put into it.
