Oh no worries at all!



I seem to be on a Beatles kick right now and I very much so appreciate Indian culture, spirituality, music, meditation, etc. etc. So at that moment I was moved to quote them And yeah... there are a lot of rumors about their songs being drug related but for every speculation there is a counter argument (most famously I'm thinking of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds which is reputed to be "LSD" but according to John Lennon it was a song written about a picture his daughter drew and she was the one who came up with the name).



Very cool that you go to a school founded by Maharishi..! I imagine that must be a very unique and interesting educational experience!

Funny you should ask - the reason why I put it in my signature is because I was listening to the song and finally looked up the meaning of the phrase :3



It's sanskrit; a rough translation is "We give thanks to the Heavenly one" with "om" added onto the end as the universal vibration of peace and harmony.



It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy



Also should add that the website I used to look up the phrase did mention that there are other translations of the phrase, and they were not claiming to be the one and only acceptable translation. So now I'm curious if you happen to know a different translation..?
